Even The Strong Get Hurt Sometimes...
The sheer amount of time it took me to complete this is unbelievable. I'm so completely utterly super ultra mega humunga sorry,
Crazygameguy. I recall stalling for the LONGEST, because I wanted to make the PERFECT picture because of my LAST screw-up with time. Then, I did the same thing again...
This is one of four pictures you'll be getting from me. I'm so sorry yet again. I understand if you're really upset at me.
But, uh... lemme get back on a positive note and go on with the description.
Di helps heal an injured Mira on the battlefield. (I keep going into these kinds of pictures blind and draw what I think is a cute idea, I'm sorry if this is inaccurate and Mira never gets hurt or anything.)
I have no idea what happened to her arm. It was just the easiest thing for me to draw. (I wanted to have Di sewing it back up, but I can't draw that from that angle well. So... uh... this is post-surgery, okay?)
Did you know? Di worked as a battle medic before! She's seen some things, maaaaan... and done some stuff, too. Wouldn't recommend it!
Why did she retire from it? She likes being a general practioner/surgeon more. Also, watching one of the patients you just finished taking care of get headshot and instantly killed does something to you. But, she's fine. Totally fine. Doesn't need therapy or anything.
Before any of you say it, I have no idea what modern battlefield medics wear. Like, at all. (Probably not as cute as the outfit I made... >.>) I don't keep up with military stuff. So, I gave her an olive green labcoat. And, one of those patch thingies on her arm! Because that thing is very visible to the other team, she was taken as a POW. But, uh... they didn't have a good time getting an information out of her...
(I'm not able to look it up, but I believe it isn't offensive, but PLEASE tell me before I get in trouble. That arm patch with the Red Cross on it isn't related to... you know, right? There's American medics that wear them as well, right? ...I mean, Di's 1/4 German and I'm afraid of EVER making her come off as being a part of... them. You know who I mean. I just thought it was cute and I HOPE it's a American thing, I'm going to be so screwed if it isn't... >< I got the idea from a fan picture of Medic and I'm going to be SO pissed if it has to do with them.)
I'm sorry, this description's mostly been about me... I'm very self-centered, aren't I? ><
