We saw how the flow of the happy go lucky man turned into an obedient toy, now bent on revenge the bringing his friend to the same level when he himself no longer has the ability to make the choice on his own will anymore.
I find this line interesting because this could be applied to both main characters. Whether as part of the hero association or part of Rubberbuns group, there is some obedience forced upon them.
