Based on my limited research, some scientists believe that almost any touching between many animals is all of a not-so-innocent nature. If that's the case, why are humans so special that a hug for us just means friendship, and not something more sinister? My experience shows that animals and humans aren't that much different. Sure, humans have a lot of natural discontent and high dexterity, leading to the creation of machines that compensate for human inadequacy. The predominant love language of otters is touch.
