As I promised in my recent journal, here's a piece of a cute little vixen kit...Miss Sayla.
For those who might have been part of a short-lived RP on FTT, you might already know her story, but for those who don't...here we go.
For Charlie...adopting Sayla was a way for him to repay Auburn for adopting him. He just felt like it was a duty to take her into his home and tend to the lil'kit. But of all kits, why did Charlie feel compelled to take her in? Answer: Sayla has a very sad story. Unlike Charlie, she was born in the furry world to a very caring family and one older brother...but back then she was known as Artesia. When she was about 15 months old, a fire suddenly burned down her family's home; she lost her parents and her brother went missing. While they could never find the furry who did it (but suspicions point to a rival of her father's), she was basically the sole heir to the family. However she wasn't completely unscathed as it was rumored that her brother saved her before disappearing but it had cost her something similar to Charlie's injuries. When Charlie heard of her story, he felt a kinship to her...it became more than repaying Auburn for her selfless adoption - we wanted to raise her with someone who knew what she'd be facing. When the papers came through, he formally adopted her as Sayla Artesia Ann Richardson.
Although...Charlie finds out some interesting things about his kit. Namely, she's a big time pouter. *giggles* Makes for some interesting dialogue. She's also extremely resistant to naps as well which tests his patience at times. Thankfully...Stella and Misa are a big help when Charlie needs a few extra paws worth of help. :3
So..the 200th submission...Charlie's adopted kit, Sayla A. A. Richardson.
