I miss my skunk. We had to free her after learning the law for our state was that not only was it illegal to keep one but if one is found, they are to be terminated on the spot. My family had her since she could fit in the palm of our hand and very well-behaved. She thankfully was still young enough to learn a survival instinct. Before considering getting one as a pet, look into your states laws carefully. Some states are super strict while others are lax. Also, research their behaviours carefully, they aren't an easy pet.
