Yeah, jesus, I probably drew this a few years before I posted it.
I pretty much did exactly as you described...gave up drawing over time. I was getting decent, too but my skill just never caught up to my expectation of quality so I turned to other, more immediately satisfying means of art. Film, photography, food...huh. Hope that doesn't make me a failure :P
