I had a weird headcanon theory thing once where the Cat from Coraline was in fact the reincarnated spirit of Mrs. Lovatt's father who of course never found out what happened to his other twin daughter. The Cat of course would claim ignorance at this idea, leaving it up to Coraline to determine how true it is (or even if he knows for certain).
