At 4 AM this morning George departed in his sleep due to natural causes. In life he loved heavy metal music and was the bouncer at my bedroom door for many years. Prior to his house cat years he lived a hard life on the streets during which he lost several of his teeth and a few patches of his fur. I'm glad we could make his later years far more pleasant for him.
He will be greatly missed. :'-(
