Here's all the chain's to the evolution of the Skullshroom monster type from whatever world I'm developing this for. :) I will prolly do more detailed paintings with specific descriptions to each form in time, which would be cool... But I also wanna develop more evolving monsters. x3

What an interesting creature. Is it purely fungal, or a fungus/animal mix?

I imagine it's a sentient fungus. Parts of it are made up from dead animals it consumes, though. So it's sort of an undead creature as well. :3

What influences the creature to evolve a certain direction?

What types of mushrooms they collect/produce, and what creatures they interact with if any. The shaman is a product of much human interaction and it produces mushrooms with great medicinal properties for them, as an example.
