Bit late for an upload, but I'm not about to let Salvia's birthday go by without some sort of acknowledgement.

For me (and probably a lot of others, if I'm being honest), watching an idea come to life on-stream, under an artist's pen, is nothing short of magical. This one was even more so.

The first two things that came to me when designing Salvia, even before a name, were dancing, and dancing as the long flowing tail of a thresher streamed out behind her. This piece perfectly encapsulates the image I had in mind while creating her; long, sweeping movements, all conducted with an air of practiced elegance.
