I can appreciate the allure of rebellion. Order can seem imperfect and oppressive to those without the scope or capability to see the achievements we accomplish on a galactic scale. A machine only operates when all it's parts work together, and in unity we bring our greatest strength to bare. Together we can reshape planets, alone we cannot even dent a mountain. We all make sacrifices to the greater community. We give up the freedom to punish those who wrong us so that the law enforcement bodies can make us all safer and exact a just manner upon offenders. Taxes are collected so that public works can benefit us all.
If you strike out on your own you give up safety of the group, the skills of the specialised, and the assistance of the whole. And when the enemy comes for you, you will stand alone. I will stand with legions.
