This here is something I have been wanting to make for a very long time now.
This is a tribute piece for an amazing artist named edtropolis, who works over at Deviantart.
It is a story based on a pic of his called "the wash" featuring Tails from the "Sonic" games, and a link to the image can be found here: https://www.deviantart.com/edtropol.....wash-303759251

It was a sunny summers day as Tails made his way to the local dry cleaner.
He was a pretty simple living Fox boy who didn't have the comfort of his own washing machine, so what better solution to that then to simply use up your entire wardrobe and then take it all for one big wash to get it done quickly?
Entering the place Tails noticed it was a very slow day at the place since it was pretty much empty on both costumers and staff, and seemed to only have one machine going at the moment.
Knowing that this gave him pretty much free range to pick and chose Tails took and carried his big laundry basket over to the machine in the middle of the room, as he then started to fill it up with all of his things.
After having a good week of laundry already stuffed into the big washing machine Tails noticed it still having plenty of free space to spare, as he decided to add some of his own clothing onto the pile.
Having seen on previous times how some folks would just casually be sitting and waiting on their laundry to get done in just their undies Tails figured he could do that same as he quickly took off shirt and shorts, before then adding them and his sandals onto the pile as he finally closed the door and started the machine.
As he stood there and watched the thing starting to roll the whole clothes pile around slowly Tails started to notice a bit of a breeze around his neither parts, and upon looking into the window of the machine he spotted how out of his shorts was falling a pair of underpants!
Looking down at himself Tails panicked as he had ended up being a bit to quick with adding his own clothes in, as he was now standing completely buck naked in the empty dry cleaner!
Tails just wanted to quickly reach for the door and get his underpants back to put on, when he hesitated and remembered how machines like this worked.
They needed some coins to be inserted in order to start running their washing programs set in, and if Tails where to open that door he would interup the process and the whole thing would end up cancelled. (And he didn't bring any spare coins for a second wash!)
Cursing over his own predicament he had now Tails ears shoot up as he heard the sound of the door bell ringing as some more costumers was entering, and he knew that if he didn't do something quickly they would find a naked stranger with a pretty hard time explaining himself!
Since this place was pretty bared bones to just washing machines and chairs it was pretty much impossible for him to remain hidden for a longer time, as Tails was just about ready for getting the embarrassment of his life when he spotted something!
Seeing in the corner of the room some drapes hanging closely together Tails spotted between them an opening of a hidden room being behind them.
Knowing it would be his one ticket into hiding his nakedness Tails took off as he held his hands close to covering himself as he dashed towards the drapes and made his way inside, just having the new costumers missing out on the naked guy as all they saw was the drapes moving a bit on their own before then slowing down again.
Catching his breath over what an incredible close call that was Tails sat down at an empty seat in the room and just tried to relax a bit when he suddenly heard a voice saying, "Oh. Are you also doing this?" which caused him to jump up from the seat and cover his crotch again in panic before he saw just who it had been asking him that.
Sitting a bit hidden in the corner on another stool was a Fox lady, except she was also just as naked as he was! (And she wasn't trying to cover herself up either!)
Seeing how nervous and embarrassed Tails was looking over her seeing him like this the Fox lady tried to break the ice a bit by saying, "My name is Fiona, and I was just curious if you also chose to do your washing this way...or if it was just the result of a silly mistake?", and the look of Tails face as he tried to avoid eye contact after hearing that last part made it very clear to her which one of the two scenarios was most likely.
Finding it rather cute that she had now with her a fellow nudie that seemed to be just a bit uncomfortable with this all, Fiona tried to make the poor guy feel la little less ashamed over himself by saying "My first time was also by mistake, you know."
"R-Really?" Tails asked back as he saw Fiona pointing back at the chair he had been sitting at before, and feeling a bit better knowing that she too had been in that very same situation as he was in now did make him feel comfortable enough to sit down closely to her. (But he still preferred to have his hands covering his privates.)
"I also ended up tossing in a bit to much for the machine to work on that first time, and when I heard other folks coming in I quickly took and hide myself inside this old unused room for some shelter." Fiona explained as Tails then had to ask her why she was now sitting just as naked as before, if she had seemingly learned from her old mistakes.
"As I was sitting here hiding from the rest I found myself really liking just being all naked and exposed at a place like this, without anyone else even knowing that I was just sitting in the next room." Fiona said as she even added that "I would gladly even sit out there and wait for my laundry to get done, but I rather not risk ending up causing someone to get easily offended by my actions."
Fiona then went on to ask Tails on how he was feeling about sitting with her all naked like this, and much to Tails own surprise his answer to that was "Pretty nice, actually..."
It felt so unreal to say but it did feel right as the seat on the chair he was sitting on was of black leather, and it was placed so that the sunlight coming in from a small window was shinning right at it. (Making his naked buns really feel like they where being grilled by the heat from the seat.)
And sharing the time he had with someone else who was just as naked strangely made him let go of all barriers he often had when trying to be social, as with both of them all nude there really wasn't anything awkward to be said or done now.
In fact Tails started to get so laid back and comfy with the whole situation that he even stopped using his hands to hide his things, given how he had a really super hot Fox lady sitting next to him with all of her goodies on full display all the time.
After just 5 minutes from meeting each other Fiona and Tails had already been starting to talk to each other as if they where two old friends who had known each other for years, as neither of them seemed to even notice now that the one they where talking to wasn't wearing a stitch of clothing! (They both even had their eyes all set on the other one's pair, and not on...other exposed parts.)
They must have been sitting and talking to each other for at least a good hour since Tails suddenly heard a loud "DING!" being made, as Fiona pointed out that it might he his laundry being finally done.
Getting out of his seat Tails was just about to pull the drapes aside and walk out from the hidden room when Fiona shouted "No wait! STOP!!!", causing him to quickly pull the things back together.
"I'm sorry for that, but I almost forgot to point out something very important!" Fiona said to Tails before looking like she was having a bit of a hard time to find words.
"I haven't really been together with anyone for a while now, and this time we have spent together has honestly been some of the most fun times I have had in a very long time." Fiona said as she then asked Tails if they could maybe met again sometime in the future, to which Tails said "Of course. I would love to see you again as soon as possible." before then making his exit from the room.
Walking out Tails was feeling like he was on cloud 9 now, having not only spent about an hour all naked together with a smoking hot lady, but she had actually wished to see him again when possible!
Had he only had a notepad and pencil with him he would have gladly given her both his phone number, home address, and password for his computer!
When getting to his machine Tails could see that his laundry was indeed done as he grabbed his laundry basket and started to pour the done load into the basket for him to carry home.
As he did tip it all onto the basket Tails spotted something strange laying on the very top of it, and upon picking it up his heart almost froze to ice when he saw what it was.
His own underpants!!!
Realizing first now that he was still 100% naked Tails looked around to see that the place was a lot more packed now with costumers, as pretty much all of them had stopped with what they where doing just to stare at him!
He was getting everything from shocked gasps from some older ladies, to finger pointing and laughter from little kids, and even a few teenagers taking photos of him with their phones!
Being now in exactly the type of situation he had feared would happen right at the start of his laundry day Tails now was in the centre of attention, as he foolishly tried to cover himself up with his own underpants pressed against his crotch area, and with him feeling so embarrassed and exposed now as his super red cheeks was impossible to be missed by anyone.
Peeking out from the drapes Fiona saw how Tails had now ended up causing a huge scene around himself, as she just found it all to be pretty cute and thinking to herself, "That Fox boy sure knows how to end up in the most embarrassing of situations. He would make for a perfect partner to have."

Many people say that when they see images like that, but I wonder if Tails is really able to think straight when in a situation like this?
