I almost bought a Packard when i was in the Navy. Beautiful car but the magnet I brought with me wouldn't stick to it except on the top of the fenders. The bondo was caked on it, I was afraid if i hit a pothole, the chunks falling off of it could wreck the car behind me. Pity really.
That's ok, the first car I remember my parents owning was a 1958 Thunderbird.
