We went to the reptile show a few weeks ago. I had only been there for like, three minutes and somehow ended up wandering back to our booth with this monster. I remain steadfast in the claim that I blacked out and just happened to come to with a reticulated python.

And he hates me. It could have something to do with the fact that he'd been to so many shows lately that he'd developed a nose rub (you can see his poor pink nose in the picture), but luckily our vet was at the show and did a free exam for me, and aside from giving me the BIGGEST most DISAPPOINTED in me lecture ever declared him sore, but getting better.

So he's been on the road for a while, and he's got an owie nose, and I dared to pick him up and cuddle him while he was cold and unable to throw the tantrum he apparently wanted, so now he hates me. Like HAAATES me.

It's always good to have a beast that'll eventually get a couple dozen feet long with a mouth like a shark HATE you.

But I love him so. Lookit that little face! Awwww!

I managed to get this portrait between strikes and flipping out. I wouldn't be harassing him, but he had to have his little cage cleaned.
