It's worth buying one and you have it for years. Having something to keep you warm and comfortable is always a good investment.

Some of that gear costs more money than I get in an entire year! It would be nice if such things were actually sold in stores, but I guess I'm just not in a part of the world where extreme arctic expedition gear exists. Online places tend to ask thousands for what I want. I struggle just to make house payments and pay my utilities.

Strangely, when I was growing up, ultra-thick snow gears was easy to find in stores. I haven't even seen a single puffy nylon shell snowsuit in a local store in almost twenty years now.

Lombaxes and downsuits are a great combo! Especially this time of year :P

Both are nice to have them on the couch or in bed at night.

These suits are even lovely without snow. Feels like a sleeping bag you can walk around with.
