Little Polar and The Igloo!(Story by David31)
One day it snowed outside Little Polar's home. When the young polar bear saw all the wonderful snow outside he jumped for joy.
"At long last, I can build an igloo and use it as a nice little hideaway where no one can find me"., he proclaimed, then let out a little giggle at all the mischief that he was planning to get away with.
Cutting some ice blocks from a nearby pond, Little Polar then set to work to put the pieces together. It sure was hard work, but Little Polar was determined to get it done. He also went inside the igloo as he worked, to make sure everything was OK inside, he had used cold water to glue the blocks together as the water would soon freeze over keeping the blocks in place. Little Polar was soon almost done, all he had to do was to lift the last block onto the ceiling of the igloo and he succeeded.
He was very proud of his work, but then he realised something, he didn't include a door, he was so busy building the igloo from within, that he had forgotten to include a doorway for himself. He was trapped inside his own igloo. He couldn't get a grip on any of the ice blocks as there was barely anything to grasp onto, so he couldn't pull any blocks aside, not that he could have done anyway, as they were stuck tightly together. Little Polar panicked for a bit, before he yelled out.
"HELP! HELP! I'M TRAPPED IN HERE! HELP"!, cried Little Polar in desperation.
Fortunately for him, a young rabbit was passing by Little Polar's home and his igloo where he heard the cries for help.
"Huh? Are you in there Little Polar"?, asked the rabbit.
"Yes! Yes I am, who is it"?, asked Little Polar.
"It's David. Remember that rabbit you played a trick on by dangling me in front of a carrot a few months ago"?, answered David.

"Oh? Oh...."., Little Polar then sat on the snow floor of his igloo, thinking that David won't rescue him, due to him being a target for one of his tricks in the past.
"Do you need any help"? David asked from outside.
Little Polar was confused, but he answered honestly. "Yes I do! I'm trapped in here. I can't get out! can you help me?! Please"?!, he cried.
"Sure I can"., David replied.
David tried to get a grip on one of the blocks, but was unable to get a grip on any of them. he thought for a moment.
"Hold on Little Polar, I'll be right there"!, he cried.
He then started digging a hole beside the igloo as far as his paws can muster. Inside Little Polar wondered if he would ever be saved. But then he felt a small rumble from the snow near where he was sitting. He stood up and a mound of snow was formed, then two ears popped out of it and finally the hole opened up to reveal David's head.
"Come on Little Polar. I've dug this hole so that you can get out"., smiled David.
Little Polar too smiled. It was a bit of a squeeze with two of them, but David helped Little Polar into the hole and the two crawled through the tunnel and over to the other side. David boosted Little Polar out of the hole, before he climbed out himself.
"Thank you for helping me David and I'm so sorry for that trick I played on you a while ago. But why did you save me"?, asked Little Polar.
"Because simply, it was the right thing to do"., David replied.
The two of them shared a hug, before standing side by side, admiring Little Polar's work, but safely from the outside, as it once again started to snow.
The End.
