Devotion is self transformation

True spirituality is the path of learning how to live in devotion. Only true mystics know how to live only in devotion because they have transcended their society and their ego. Devotion is the the abscence of fear of loss and the abscence of ego, because it is our ego that keeps us from living in devotion. Society does not live in devotion because society lives in the ego. So only when one leaves that behind, one can live in devotion. Devotion is the most fulfilling state of consciousness, it is pure ecstasis, there is nothing to achieve, nothing to complain about and nothing to prove. It is all about playfulness and simply sharing love with existence, but as long as there is fear of loss, true devotion is not possible. So only when one has transcended their fear of loss, when one is ready to be a nothing, one can live in devotion, because to be nothing means to live in Nirvana and to live in Nirvana means to live in devotion.
