So much to like about this picture! My favorite is Yoshi's expression though, the smile with a closed eye while tears form at both is adorable. Also, There's something alluring about the "One of us, One of us" vibe the dry bones are giving off.

The poor yoshi is still the best tickle-victim in Mario's univer, and the only official thing about yoshi is yes the sole of his feet is well white ( but not the sole of the toes but who worry about that ? I found these white toes cute too!!). If you want my "ref" I have see Yoshi without his boot in an official old nitendo artbook (I don't have him anymore but you can found him on internet I think ^^) you see him cry because he have lose on of his boot X3

Now as you see in it seem it was a thing that explain why some Mario monsters have boots :p and now y9u know that yoshi's feet are without claw and with wite skin on the sole ^^

Yup, and getting tickled by tickle fanatics is the best cuz they're not gonna get tired of it, and so they're not gonna stop!

I wonder if the Dry Bones intend to tickle Yoshi until he's so just so exhausted there's no more tears and hence he's dry or just unable to do anything other than pant for breath or since they're already dead and don't tire they'll tickle him for so long over several days that he'll die of dehydration and hence he'll be truly dry and then rise up as a skeleton like them. If he's been tickled that long he might have been tickled into madness and developed a tickling obsession and so he'd truly be one of them.

I think though that they just like to be morbid and a little sadistic and want to terrify Yoshi but that eventually they'll stop after a few hours and eventually let him go after admiring his soft and sensitive feet a little while longer. Unfortunately for Yoshi he'll never get his boots back as I imagine the Dry Bones will keep them as trophies.

They have a tendency to get carried away with the situation. It's all about making the victim struggle and squirm x3
And you're right about that last part. Yoshi's boots are theirs to keep x3
