I had a lot of fun putting Chrys together, way back when, but the more I looked back, the less happy I was. I eventually decided she looked kind of bland, and embarked on a quest to give her a better design! I cracked open one of my Shadowrun books, for some inspiration on designs, aaaaand now we've accidentally got a Shadowrun campaign ready to go.

Needless to say, Chrys here is the character I'm playing! She's originally human, but a global wave of magical energy when she was a kid interacted poorly with her own nascent magical nature, triggering a SURGE mutation that turned her into a 'possum person, and eventually led to her striking out from home and making a new life with the gangs on the streets of Denver. Now, years later, she's a consummate survivor and skilled mage, with some cyberware upgrades to boot. Through a chance encounter, she's met up with a troll and a detective, and so a new team of runners has entered the shadows...
