These are three separate paintings I made for practice, compiled into one image. I feel that I have a good understanding of how to shade smooth surfaces, or surfaces without complicated textures (a complicated texture would be a surface with a lot of protrusion). An area that I'd like to address is colour picking, and how to properly saturate them. The purple sperm thing has somewhat nice colours but the rest look dull and grayish. Hopefully one day I'll be able to paint stuff that doesn't look so amateurish.
