Putting 9 tails to good use is not easy, however Darkso prefers an assault style of combat, so having nine extra blades to swing around will likely be helpful, at the same time adding to the requested psychological warfare considerations. Needless to say, nobody wants to find themselves too close to her in this suit

I don't know, all those extra METAL tails would probably rub into each other and just create a lot of sparks, and end up being too cumbersome to be of any use. Unless they extend :U 9 extending blades would be pretty scary and would probably be easier to manage as they'd have more space between them.
There's also the factor that being a 9-tailed fox, the user would move those tails very naturally, so I guess that the "tails hitting each other" problem wouldn't be all that bad. STILL, 9 EXTENDING BLADES WOULD BE COOL.
Whatever, this looks awesome. The helmet gives it an agile look.

That looks ineffective as all hell, i believe that closecombat units have either got to be fast as hell to get in, cause damage and then run like fuck, or be heavy enough to take any bombardment thrown at them and cause as much damage as possible, that suit doesn't look fast due to the 9 tails of extra blades and weight, and it sure as hell don't look tough enough to take anti-tank firepower. Plasma gun might give it a better chance against infantry and light vecs and mechs but anything with a fair bit of armour or shielding wouldn't really be threated at long ranges. I think its best use would be light skimishes thinking about it. fighting off squads of infantry or something similar.
