Hey all, here's another RP session i did with my friend Thronezwei. Hope you all enjoy it, and please comment.
Darius gets his wish
Thronezwei: I walked through the woods outside of my hometown, somewhat dejected. I looked up at the full moon and sighed. I'd always wanted to become a werewolf, you see. I'd tried just about every method outside of hypnosis, which was dangerous, and some of the more illegal ones. I even had a werewolf character online. But...that was the closest I really had gotten to being one.
"Darn...and the moon looks so amazing tonight too...I'm beginning to wonder if I'll never achieve my dream now..."
I hadn't really told too many people outside of a few close friends. Mostly because I didn't want them to think I was crazy for wanting something like that. But still...I could dream.
Omni: Little did Darius realize that there was a shadowy figure following him so stealthily, not even a mouse could hear. He looked at the beautiful full moon and sighed again.
Thronezwei: I sat down in a clearing I knew of in the area. Sometimes I wondered if I was being a fool for wanting to be a lycanthrope. It had a lot of upsides, but at the same time, I often considered the downsides, but decided even those might be worth it if I could hide being one. Well, at least in theory, since I wasn't a werewolf.
"Maybe I should give up on this...spend time doing something else. Being a werewolf sounds like a nice dream, but it'll never happen."
I smiled a little, though. Dreams were always nice to have...
Omni: "I wouldn't be too sure of that, boy." Darius jumped to his feet as he looked around trying to see who was speaking to him, yet not seeing this mysterious stranger.
Thronezwei: I hadn't expected anyone else to be out in the woods late at night. When I thought of it further, a cold chill came over me. If this was someone who wanted to hurt me, I wasn't going to fare well. I dug into my pockets to make sure my wallet was there just in case. My previous line of thought had been pushed into the back of my mind out of fear.
"H-hello? Who's there? Where...where are you? What do you want?"
I hadn't expected anyone else to be out in the woods late at night. When I thought of it further, a cold chill came over me. If this was someone who wanted to hurt me, I wasn't going to fare well. I dug into my pockets to make sure my wallet was there just in case. My previous line of thought had been pushed into the back of my mind out of fear.
Omni: "The question is not what I want, but what you want. Do you truly seek to become this form?" A lone figure stepped out from the trees, a tall young man approximately six feet tall with dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. All he wore were some green cargo pants and a navy blueshirt. His eyes were a piercing sky blue, and you could see the glint of silver rings on his fingers in the moon light.
Thronezwei: "What form? You don't mean a werewol- wait...how did you know? Who ARE you? Am I going crazy?"
He didn't LOOK like a mugger or worse, but looks could be decieving. But at the same time, he seemed to know about my wanting to become a werewolf. But as far as I knew, none of the people I'd told lived anywhere near me, and it didn't seem like something they'd mention to someone else. He seemed rather nicely dressed, but the fact that he was missing his shoes seemed odd. The woods had a lot of fallen trees...who WAS this guy?
Omni: "No, you're not going crazy. I am real, just as real as you are. As for how I knew, you were kind of talking about it just a second ago. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Conor, though most of my furry friends know me by another name."
Darius: "Conor...wait...you're Omnikitsune? I thought you lived several states away...what are you doing here, and without shoes, no less? But setting that question aside, I do seek to attain that form, but I don't see how such a thing's possible. Outside of the dangerous and illegal stuff, I've done everything. As you can see...nothing's worked."
I didn't know anyone else named Conor, so it had to be him. But how he'd gotten there was something I didn't know.
Omni: "Oh trust me, it's possible. And yes, I am Omnikitsune on line. As for the no shoes bit, well, that's a little complicated. The best way would be for me to show you."
I initiate my changes. I want to go kitsune, but with the moon out and everything, I feel like my werewolf form is more appropriate, especially since Darius wanted to become one. I call on my arm and the changes begin, slowly at first, a little point to the ears, a little darker hair color, some five o clock shadow, but then they pick up in pace. My feet quickly switch to a digitrade stance as they morph into paws. The same happens to my hands. Dark padding grows on my fingers, palms and feet, and my nails sharpen into dark claws. Next came my teeth, sharpening into a form more suited for the predator I was becoming. Then, the fur began to grow out in a wave from the bottom of my feet and from my chest. I grow taller and much more muscular as the changes continue. My nose turning black, leathery, cold, and wet. My face extending out into the muzzle of a wolf. My ears shift to the top of my head and finish pointing into the propper form for a wolf. My hair shrinks back into my scalp until it is at the propper length for the guard hairs … my guard hairs. Then they turn black. The black fur continues to flow over me in a wave, meeting at the seat of my pants and causing a small bump to show in the seat of my pants. That bump grew into a huge bulge before finally slipping out as the pants somehow modified themselves to fit my new tail. I close my eyes as my senses change and adjust before opening them up again. They were still those same piercing blue eyes, although somewhat more feral.
Thronezwei: My eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets when I saw Conor change into what could only be a large werewolf with black fur. Except for the eyes and clothing, which still weren’t different, I couldn't tell that the werewolf standing in front of me had been human a moment ago.
"I...no wonder you didn't need shoes...but...ugh...I feel stupid asking, but can I have that happen to me somehow? Assuming I'm not dreaming that is..."
Omni: I chuckle. "You're not dreaming Darius." Then I get serious again. "You need to know Darius that I have magical abililities. That is how I was able to turn myeslf into a werewolf in the first place." I raise my hand up and point to a ring that has the picture of a wolf's head engraved on it with a bunch of runic designs around the rest of the band. "This is an arm, a magical object with special powers. It has the power to grant you what you seek. However, there is a price. You will only be a beta. The ring makes me the alpha. If you should choose this form, you will become my loyal packmate, and my subservient. You would end up doing whatever I ordered you to do. In the wrong hands, this ring could cause a great deal of trouble. Fortunately, I'm not the kind who takes away other peoples' free will. You will be able to do as you please, though you will still be bound to me as long as the spell remains on you. Also, for this first night, you will become very much like a wolf not only physically, but mentally. You'll eventually learn to control that and to change at will. For the first few months though, I believe you may want to plan around the nights of the full moon, because until you have complete mastery, you will change at every full moon. I have told you the risks and the price. Now the decision is up to you. Think carefully before you answer. I can wait as long as is necessary.
Thronezwei: Though I was still shocked, I listened to what he said carefully. It was a huge risk to accept, but at the same time, how many chances would I get to live my dream? I could live with changing during the full moon well enough, and I was the kind of person who felt more at ease with at least one person above me in terms of authority. And, Conor seemed like an honest guy to me. I didn't quite know how I could tell, though. After about 10 minutes of thinking, I spoke up, trying to look him in the eyes.
"I...I accept. Truth be told, I actually like being under someone, authority-wise, not to mention just structure in general. This is a price that I am willing to pay, Conor. And I have not reached this decision lightly."
Omni: "Very well then. Prepare yourself Darius. This will hurt." I call up my magic and an aura of power surrounds me. *Darius can't see it, but if he is sensative enough, he should be able to feel it.* I then call on the arm in a way that I have not done in quite some time. "Shadow Arm, Mark of the Werewolf!" With that shout, the arm activates, my magic flowing to it and the runes and wolf head begin to glow an unearthly pale white, like the moon itself. The light then seems to coalesce and flow out of the markings, flying into the air and changing color, taking on the form of a wolf. It looks more like a spirit than a physical being. As it takes form, the white changes color to a russet brown. With the white remaining on the front right forepaw and around the right eye. As it continued to solidify, you could make out the individual folicles of fur and finally, it flew over to Darius, hovering above him. It sniffed him before letting out a long mournful howl and biting his shoulder. Blood could clearly be seen through the tears in his clothing and Darius cried out in pain from the bite. The wolf then released it's jaws and flew back towards the ring, dissapated into white energy once more, entered the ring and died away.
Thronezwei: I was shocked to see the spirit appear. It looked almost, no, EXACTLY like the character I'd come up with. I had felt...something earlier, but I didn't know what. Even the white fur on the chest right below the neck going down to just above the legs was accurate...but then it came over to where I was, and after sniffing me and howling, it bit me on the shoulder, hard.
"Agghhhh! Ow...ow...you..arghh...weren't...joking...how long does this take to...ow...start?"
I had never really been good with pain, but I had to endure this. But at the same time, I felt giddy. If this wasn't a dream...
Omni: "Calm down Darius, look at your shoulder. The wound is already healed."
Thronezwei: "I'll be...it has! So, other than getting fuzzy around the full moon, what does being a werewolf net me? There's tons of legends, but I have no idea if any of them are true. Hmm ... not feeling any different yet...I guess it'll start when it's ready, huh?"
I was amazed that my shoulder had healed, not to mention that I wasn't even in pain anymore. I guess the magic worked its...well...magic rather quick in that regard.
Omni: "As far as that goes, you won't have any urges to eat or harm humans, except for the huge jerks of course, and even then that's just human. You will probably end up feeling an urge to go hunting every once in a while, and your diet will shift more towards meats rather than vegetables, though you can still eat both. For this first night, you will most likely become like a wolf in body as well as in mind. After all, you need to learn to trust those instincts and to use your new body. Don't worry, you'll still be aware of what you're doing and who you are. I'll be with you every step of the way. After all, that's my duty as your alpha. If I'm right, you should be able to also become a feral wolf if you should so choose, though for tonight, I don't know whether or not you will have a choice. You'll probably end up changing willingly and happily without even realizing that you're doing it. It's a lot of fun actually. After tonight, we can get the rest of your pack together as well and give them the same choice I gave you. But for now, it is time. Look to the moon young wolf, and behold its beauty."
Thronezwei: "I don't really know where they are...but...the moon does look..."
I stared up at the moon like he'd asked. It looked even more beautiful than I'd remembered it being before. It was funny. It was close, and yet so far away. And tonight, it would be the catylist for my change.
"...fascinating."
Omni: I smile as I see him look at the moon. It really is a very captivating sight, especially for a werewolf. I wait and watch for the changes to begin.
Thronezwei: I was so entranced by the moon that I almost missed my fingernails blacken and lengthen into sharp claws. As I gasped in amazement, fur began to sprout on my hands...no...paws. Russet brown fur covered my right hand and began to spread up my arm as my palms and fingertips grew the pads associated with wolves and other canines. My left hand folowed suit, though the hand up to a little past my wrist was white, where it faded into the brown that was predominant. Though I couldn't see it, the blue in my eyes became much sharper than before. I chuckled and then quickly removed my shoes and socks so that when they changed, they weren't ruined.
"This is really happening! Thank you!"
Omni: "Of course. Keep looking young wolf. The moon calls to you, it is in your blood, your very bones." He once again looks at the moon and takes on a happy dazed, mesmerized look. His ears point and shift to the top of his head before being covered in the russet brown fur. They move a little bit as Darius feels them and willingly moves them for the first time. And as he lets loose a grin, I see that his canines are elongating and growing sharper, while the rest of his teeth are changing to fangs. I smile. It's always fun to watch a transformation, especially one like this.
Thronezwei: I can feel a pressure in my head, not unlike a headache, but all over and pleasant. Though I can't really see it, the brown fur around my left eye fades to white as my nose becomes black, leathery and wet, like any self-respecting wolf should have. Then, my face pushes out into a muzzle as my teeth finish their changes into fangs. I grin widely with my new muzzle and chuckle a bit as the fur starts moving down my neck, though my attention is locked on the moon.
"This...I can't really describe it!"
Omni: "No one really can. It's always pleasureable save to those who view it as a curse, and even they come around to it eventually." I watch as he grows taller. His form growing much more muscular as his clothes hug tightly to his body. I can see a small bulge in the back of his pants, and it's growing at a very fast rate. Meanwhile, he's panting as his tongue lolls out of his mouth. I can tell he's enjoying this.
Thronezwei: "Even they do, huh? How many have you met who view this as a...curse?"
I couldn't really understand why anyone would see it like that. It just felt so wonderful to be a werewolf. By the time my tail tore its way through the back of my pants, fur had covered my torso, brown on the back, and white on the front going from just below where my neck started down to my waist. My tail was brown, though at around 2/3rds of the way down, it also faded to white on the underside. I just hoped my pants would survive this change. But try as I might, I couldn't look away from the moon, though it's not like I wanted to.
"I can't understand why anyone would dislike this...especially once they got used to it. It's the best of both worlds..."
Omni: "That it is, but some people are born as werewolves and don't have magic to help them. And they tend to have difficulty adjusting. Others fear that they would be viewed as freaks of nature, and indeed, some are viewed that way. It's a sad thing. That's why I tend to search out those who understand what the consequences of being a werewolf would be. The natural borns are then able to receive some form of companionship and of course, they also get a sense of family. Most werewolves that I know reside in different worlds and dimensions from this earth, but with a little help, they've been able to deal with their problems and most are now living very happy lives. Whether as man, beast, or both, I don't really know."
Thronezwei: "I see… it would be sad when that happens. But there are other dimensions aside from this one? I guess Star Trek wasn't wrong after all. huh?"
As I chuckled at the Star Trek reference, the russet brown fur moved its way down my legs and to my feet, which changed into a digitrade stance, my feet lengthening as pads formed on them, the fur fading to white past my ankle as my toenails underwent the same change as my fingernails had, blackening and shaping themselves as sharp claws. As with the rest of my body, my legs became more muscular than they'd been before, though not overly so. I still couldn't tear my gaze away from the moon.
Omni: "Looks like you're almost finished buddy. Welcome to the pack. When you're finished, take all the time you want to admire your body. Then we can get down to the really fun stuff."
Thronezwei: "Almost finished? What's left to change? And what do you mean by fun stuff?"
As far as I could tell, I had completely changed into a werewolf, but this being my first change, I could easily have overlooked something.
Omni: I chuckle a little bit before I motion for him to look at the moon one more time. "It's just so beutiful, isn't it? Don't you feel an urge to do something?" He looked once more at the moon and took on the dreamy look again. I look at the moon as well. As we both look, the beauty entrances us. Calls to us and demands attention. Without even thinking, I let out a long, mournful howl to the moon. Darius quickly follows suit as our duet soars into the night sky, showing our primal attachment and appreciation for the moon and its beauty.
Thronezwei: As I howled, I realized that that had been what was missing. I couldn't help but enjoy it. It was odd for me, since I normally enjoyed being inside more than I did outside, and with electronics, but this howl seemed more enjoyable than any game I'd played before. After the last note of the howl faded away, I looked at Conor.
"That was refreshing! So, now what do we do?"
Omni: I wink at him mischeviously. "We hunt." Darius' stomach let out a growl at the mention of food.
Thronezwei: I looked down at my stomach after it growled a little. I'd eaten recently, though I suspected that the change had been partially fueled by my own body as much as it had the magic. I didn't know, but I could ask later. But hunting sounded strangely appealing to me. As long as I could still eat my normal diet despite being a werewolf, I could handle hunting.
"Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure you heard my stomach just now...so I could go for a bite to eat. Or more, it seems. I think there's at least some deer in these woods."
Omni: "Well then, let’s get to tracking them." I get down on all fours and use my senses to search for the deer. Darius follows my example and begins to search as well. The two of us fan out until at last, Darius picks up a scent. He howls in delight at his small victory and quickly goes racing up the trail. I knew he'd be giving in to his wolf instincts some time tonight. I quickly race after him and as I run, I have my arms change into forepaws, and my legs become shorter. My clothes disappear and as I finish my changes, I quickly run off after the new pack member, my own thoughts getting more simple as well. My stomach starting to take control.
Thronezwei: It hadn't taken too long for me to find the scent of a deer and begin chasing after it. I howled to let him know that I'd found something and had continued tracking and chasing it. Unbeknownst to me, my arms had changed into forepaws and I was now running on all fours as a feral wolf, and that my clothing had torn off during my change into a four-legged version of my new self. I also couldn't really think of much more than the hunt and catching my meal. I was hungry, and I would gain my meal. I howled again, conveying a message.
"The prey is this way!"
Omni: I hear my packmate's howls and quickly follow them, moving as quick as lightning by human standards. I quickly catch up with the beta, he is young and fiesty; not as experienced in the hunt. I bark a greeting to him as we continue to chase our prey. We come upon a small stream where an entire herd of deer are stopped to drink. I ready myself for the kill, getting into a crouch before leaping atop a beautiful doe's back and biting her neck, cutting off her air passage and bleeding her to death. I ravenously attack my prey, enjoying every succulent flavor the meat and blood has to offer. The beta seems to have done just as well, taking down a young buck. Only a few points on his rack, but still, that makes it all the better, the meat isn't as tough that way. I pant contentedly after finishing my meal.
Thronezwei: I was ordinarily a picky eater, but as a wolf, I didn't care about the texture or taste of the deer that I'd just killed and eaten. It felt good to get food in my stomach, especially after a good hunt like that. The rest had run off, but I didn't mind. The deer that the alpha and I had bagged would be more than enough to fill our stomachs. After eating my fill, I looked at where he was sitting, obviously happy. My appitite satiated, I could now think more clearly, more like a human than a wolf, though the instincts still were present, reminding me that he was in charge.
"I felt like I hadn't eaten in days! Did that arm also use the food in my stomach to fuel this change?"
Omni: I cock my head to one side, the canine equivalent of a shrug. "Well, I don't think so. The magic was supposed to take care of that, but who knows. Maybe you burned some calories while you changed. As a werewolf, you'll have a much faster metabolism than a normal human. It helps to keep us in shape. But yeah, most werewolves feel hungry after they change so maybe the change does use some of the energy from your food you've eaten. All I know is that I always enjoy myself when I'm in wolf form. It feels so great to just run wild and free, no human cares, no worries, just me and the wild, and of course my pack mates." I let out a big yawn which sounds a bit like a whine. Understandable. It's gotten pretty late. "You ready for bed yet Darius? If you are, then let's find ourselves a den to sleep in for the night."
Thronezwei: "I am kinda tired, but ah, what about my clothing? It was pretty much destroyed when I changed a second time. If I wake up before I change back to human, or at least the bipedal form I had before, I can't exactly head back into town in the buff...will I be able to switch between this and the bipedal form?"
I was a little concerned about this, but at the same time, I couldn't head into town in my current shape either. People would get concerned if they spotted a wolf. Or if they just thought I was a wild dog or something.
Omni: "Relax Darius, I'll explain in the morning. Come on, let’s find ourselves a place to sleep." We pad off into the forest until we find a nice area sheltered by tree branches and bushes and then we lay down to sleep.
Thronezwei: "All right then. See ya in the morning, then."
With that, I lay down somewhere where I'd have a bit of privacy if I changed back before I woke up. It felt funny sleeping in the form of a wolf instead of in a bed. But I'd likely get used to it in time. And then I shut my eyes and went to sleep, happy on a full stomach.
Omni: I wake up in the morning, greeted by the sounds of birds chirping in their trees. I quickly stand on all fours and shake my fur coat out before Changing back to human form. My clothes appearing on me as necessary. "Hey, Darius." I say "Time to get up." He still contines sleeping, so I take in a deep breath and "DARIUUUUUUUUUUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Thronezwei: I awaken to Conor yelling my name, Sitting up and shaking a bit, I realize that I'm still a full wolf. Just as well, I suppose. I look up at him and wag my tail a bit, since smiling's hard in this form.
"Sorry about that! I've been a bit of a heavy sleeper for a while! What's up?"
Omni: "Well, if you're ready, I was going to give you some very special clothes for when you change back to human form. Which I would wager you should start doing pretty soon automatically if you don't start it yourself." With a wave of my hands, a new set of clothing appears in front of the new werewolf. "There, now you'll have something to change into when you change back, and of course there are some bonus features. For example, they'll change as you do to suit your body. When you go feral, they'll disappear into a limbo of sorts until you should need them again when you change back. They're also enchanted to remain clean no matter what and they can't wear or tear in any way shape of form. I can do the same with your other clothes as well when we get back to your home."
Thronezwei: "That sounds nice! It'll save me a fortune on detergent and water bills! Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm starting to change back..."
I quickly pick up the items in my mouth and drag them behind a nearby tree. About 2 minutes later, I emerge with the new clothes on, fully human again. It felt kinda funny to be on two legs again, but I was still a human being.
"Will I be able to assume that more anthromorphic form again? Don't get me wrong, the feral form was fun, but I'd also like to walk on two legs and still be able to howl at the moon. And would it be possible to get back to that clearing? I left my shoes and socks there."
Omni: "No problem. Yes you'll be able to change at will now and choose which form you want to take. Though sometimes it's just more fun to be feral. As for your shoes and socks” I wave my hands again and they appear at our feet. "Here ya go! Now we'd best be getting to your house to take care of those other clothes. Then we can just hang out till dusk and see about getting the rest of the pack together. I grin a toothy grin. This was going to be another fun night. We make our way out of the forest and to Darius' house.
Thronezwei: I had a decent sized house, humble, but then again, I wasn't exactly rich, but it suited my needs well. As we entered, one of my cats meowed constantly in the 'I'm hungry! Feed me!' kind of way they had perfected. I smiled at this. Either I didn't smell any different, or he didn't care as felines were famous for not doing.
"If you'll excuse me for a moment, I need to go give him breakfast or he won't leave me alone for a minute. But if you want to get started on working your magic on my clothes, my bedroom's down the hall there and to the left.”
Omni: "Alright, thanks." I walk over to his room and open up his drawers and closet. I quickly set to work enchanting them, making them malleable to the wearer. The spell is a simple one and I finish in just a few minutes with all of his clothes. I then make my way back downstairs where Darius is feeding and petting his cat, the cute little fella purring contentedly.
Thronezwei: "That was awfully quick, but it's just as well, I just finished feeding him, so he'll behave...at least until dinnertime. Won't you, you little brat?
If I hadn't known better, I'd have said that Shani, my cat, had smirked a little when I spoke to him about dinnertime. But he didn't seem to be reacting to me any differently, so I guessed my newly found status as a lycanthrope didn't really register, or matter, to him.
"Who else is in this pack? I can't be the only one, am I?"
Omni: "For now, yes you are. You are the first one that I've changed permanently into a werewolf. That's why I wanted to get Hornet and the others from their homes to here so that we could all be pack mates. Once I leave, I'd put Hornet in charge, since he's usually the alpha on line anyways. I thought it would be fun, especially if you were to watch them transform like you did last night. And don't worry about not knowing where they are, I can bring them here in the blink of an eye."
Thronezwei: "I'm not sure he'd like that, actually. He strikes me as being too busy to really accommodate being a werewolf into his life. As for the others, well, I don't want to disrupt their lives. I don't mean for this to come off as being selfish, but I'd like to leave them alone for the time being. I don't know of any other people, though."
I was apologetic in my tone. I didn't want to offend him, but at the same time, I didn't really know if any of them actually wanted to become werewolves as much as I had, or if it was simply something for them to do.
Omni: "Well if that's the case, I guess we'll just have to go solo for now, unless there are some other people you know who would like to be werewolves."
Thronezwei: "None that I know of at the moment, but a large pack would more likely than not attract too much attention...plus I want to have some time to get used to my own new nature as a werewolf before I start trying to see if other people want to become werewolves too."
I sighed. There was still a lot of time left before moonrise. Fortunately, I didn't need to work on the weekends, so I didn't need to worry about going anywhere and then concern myself with getting home on time.
Omni: "I suppose I can understand that. Though most people wouldn't really care too much as long as the pack were careful." I reach down and pet the little cat who purrs in delight at the attention and nuzzles against me.
Thronezwei: "I guess he likes you! Then again, I've yet to run into a person he didn't take a liking to. Of course, he might be buttering you up in hopes you'll feed him. Say, do you think he can tell that I'm a werewolf, or not? Also, what should we do to kill time until the moon rises?"
Shani had always been an affectionate cat, and Conor proved no exception. I just wondered what else I could learn about being a werewolf in the time before the moon would rise again.
Omni: "Oh, he can tell. But he doesn't really care too much. He still knows that you're the one who's been loving and caring for him for so long. And he knows that you're still the same person personality wise, even if your scent has changed." He looks at me weird. "What? Cats can be very intelligent creatures. And of course, there's the fact that I can understand all living creatures and their various languages. It's one of the perks that my arm give me."
Thronezwei: "I figured he didn't care too much, but it's nice to know that he appreciates me being around and doesn't just see me as a servant to bother. I don't suppose you could tell him to not be quite so obnoxious prior to feeding time? I won't forget. And that does sound like quite a perk. Imagine me running into a lycanthrope version of Doctor Doolittle, huh?"
The ensuing hours went by fairly quickly as we talked about various things. Strangely, little of it seemed to involve lycanthopy, though it was probably being saved for when the transformation would take place again. After feeding the cat again, I checked my watch. It was about an hour and a half to moonrise.
"I think it's about time...will we be going? I don't want to risk changing here."
Omni: "If you want to. As far as I'm aware, I've told you all there is to know about lycanthropy except for how to change back and forth at will. We'll work on that tomorrow. Of course, you might end up wanting to eat more canine things and do some canine things while you're in human form. Just a little warning. It's fairly easy to resist those urges, though occasionally it's good to indulge yourself in them. Shall we go?"
Thronezwei: "Yup! So, since we're not working on changing back and forth at will tonight, what will we be doing once we transform?"
The walk into the woods didn't seem nearly as long as it had before I had become a werewolf. I supposed that lycanthropy helped keep me from tiring as easily as I had when I was still human. I had a almost silly grin on my face as I thought about seeing the moon again. It looked nice to most humans, but to a werewolf, it was like a particularily moving piece of fine art that you couldn't help but love and appreciate.
"Thanks for the magic on the clothes, by the way. Without it, my clothing wouldn't be the only thing destroyed by my transformations!"
Omni: "Yeah, I guess your bank account would be too." I laugh a hearty laugh. "As for what we'll be doing tonight, probably what we did last night. Just have fun and enjoy ourselves. When you're in wolf form, you find that the simpler things are a lot more fun than they were when you were human." I wink at him.
Thronezwei: "Aye, that is true. But tonight, I'd like to try to remain on two legs, albiet getting fuzzy in the process. I dunno why, but I guess I'd like to enjoy a full moon night in a form between the human and wolf forms. If that's possible, of course. I don't want to try and force my body into things it's not capable of."
Soon enough, I could see the moon beginning to rise, and I was filled with joy. I enjoyed being human, but being a werewolf was something else altogether.
Omni: "Oh yeah, it's perfectly possible. You did it last night after all. And tonight it should be easy to remain in anthro form. Last night was your first night, so it was only natural that you would go full wolf eventually. THe moon sure is beautiful, isn't it?" I feel the usual attraction to it as it's beautiful rays shine down on me. I could resist the change and stop it if I wanted to, but I enjoy myself in werewolf form. Besides, I still have to look after the newbie. I feel the usual tingling as my fur coat begins to grow in.
Thronezwei: "It's magnificent!"
I could feel the tingling I felt the previous night as my fur begins to sprout and my nails begin to reform themselves into claws. Even if I could've resisted the change, I somehow doubted that I would. Well, unless it was absolutely necessary to do so. Which it wasn't, in this case.
Omni: I feel my legs switch to a digitrade stance as padding forms on my paws and claws replace nails. My senses of hearing, sight, and smell increase as my ears shift to the top of my head and my face pushes out into its muzzle. Lastly, my tail grows in my pants before finally being let free. I'm grateful for magic. My shoes and socks disappear, and I turn to watch the new beta finish his changes before I get ready to raise my voice in wolf song.
Thronezwei: I smiled widely as my nose became black leathery and wet as my face pushed out into a muzzle while my ears lenghened and moved to the top of my head. It felt so natural now, as did the increase in the clarity of my senses, especially smell. I watch in amazement as my pants alter themselves to allow my tail through without incident. I whistled, or whistled as best one can with a muzzle, as my shoes and socks vanished as my legs become digitrade and my feet alter themselves into paws. Before raising my head to howl, I look at the padding and smile once again. I was a werewolf now. And nothing would change that. I look at the alpha and nod, signalling that I'm ready to howl at the moon to complete the change.
Omni: We both look up at the moon and let our music fill the night air. It's a beautiful melody, both sad and yet jubilant. We finish our duet and then I lower my head. "So what would you like to do now? We have all night to have some fun. Then I can teach you how to change at will in the days or nights, even when the moon isn't full. I'll also have to teach you how to resist your transformation, because though the skill rarely needs to be used, it is best to be prepared to use it when necessary."
Thronezwei: "Hmmm...I'm not really sure. Though to be honest, just exploring these woods sounds like a worthy way to spend some time. I've never really gone much further out into them than this clearing before. I'd kinda like to just see what's here, even if it's just more trees, rocks and wildlife. But yeah, the last skill you mentioned sounds like something I'd need to learn just in case. The more fun part, that is, changing at will, can wait until a little later."
I couldn't help but wag my tail in anticipation. I still had a lot to learn about being a werewolf, and it was vital. Of course, at the same time, it was something that would be fun to learn.
Omni: "Alright, lead the way. I'll follow behind you." I switch to feral form, just because I like to walk on four legs every once in a while. It's always fun to see things from a different pespective.
Thronezwei: "We might get a little lost since I don't really know where I'm going! But that is the point of exploring, right?"
I shrugged a bit as Conor changed into the feral form. I'd remain in my bipedal form unless I got bored with it. I started walking north from the clearing, making sure that I wasn't moving too fast for Conor to catch up with me.
Omni: *THinking I can't catch up, are you? We'll see who's the slowpoke.* I start running with a major burst of speed and blow past Darius. *Let's see how you handle that.*
Thronezwei: "I forgot that you can probably read minds, Conor! I didn't mean to imply that you were slow! Heh heh...I guess I still have a lot to learn about what these forms are capable of! But fortunately, I have you to tell me these things. So, which way do you want to go next? I don't wanna hog this expedition of sorts!"
Though him racing past me on all fours had surprised me, I quickly got over the shock. It had helped that I had heard him coming, but the speed at which he'd moved had been surprising. I stood there, smiling and panting a bit. We'd covered a large distance in such a short time, much to my surprise.
Omni: I cock my head again. I honestly have no clue. This place is just as new to me as it is to him.
Thronezwei: "Hmmm...well, let's continue going that way, then. I think I see something off in the distance, but I can't quite make it out from here. What do you think?"
As I mention the object, I point with my left arm in the direction it appeared to be. It was a good a thing to pursue as any, I thought.
Omni: I bark happily and start racing him there. Let's see just how fast the newbie can move.
Thronezwei: "What th - hey!"
I take off running after him, still on two legs. It's not quite as easy as four, but I catch up to him in short order and maintain the speed he's moving at as best I can, panting a bit.
"This makes two times that you've surprised me so far tonight!"
Omni: I let out a barking laugh. "Of course, it's just so much fun! now lets see what this thing is, hmmm?" We continue running until we come upon the strange object in question. It glints brightly, reflecting the moonlight. I pant and then gasp and quickly change back to bipedal form. "If this is what I think it is, then you are in for a very special treat Darius."
Thronezwei: "What do you think it is? But treats are always nice!"
I cock my head to one side, curious. I wasn't quite sure what it was, but if he thought it was important, it had to be. My experience with magic was strictly limited to the process that had made me a werewolf. Aside from that, all I knew came from fiction novels.
Omni: I pick up the object in question. It appears to be a stone glowing brightly in the moonlight. "This is a moon stone. It has been gathering light, energy and power from the moon for I don't know how long. The amount of energy readings I'm sensing though are off the charts. It must have been sitting here for thousands of years, just waiting for someone to come along. This stone can transfer that magic to whomever is able to access its power, or whomever it chooses. A little lesson for you Darius. Everything in the world and all others has a consciousness, an intelligence of its own. This particular stone has developed that intelligence over time and with it has absorbed a great deal of power. And now Darius, that power will belong to you." I call up my magical aura to wake the stone before tossing it into Darius' paws. I didn't have to wait long.
Thronezwei: I caught the object in my paws and looked at it. It was of a decent size, and was glowing, but aside from what Conor mentioned to me, I couldn't tell much more about it.
"What kind of power are you talking about? This just seems rather...sudden. I mean, in two nights I've become a werewolf and now am apparently inheriting some kind of power..."
I couldn't tell if it was working or not, but all I could do was trust him.
Omni: As Darius was talking and asking questions, the moonstone glowed even brighter and a white aura surrounded it before making its way up his paws and gradually around his body. His hair stood on end as the power flooded into him. I had a feeling the stone would give it to him. He may only be a day old, but he's still very mature, not to mention very accepting.
Thronezwei: My fur stood on end as the moonstone's powers, whatever they were, entered my body. I still didn't know what they were, or why it had chosen me of all people, but there was no real reason to fight it. Whatever it was, I would try to not abuse it. Power was rarely given to people for no reason, I liked to think.
"Still, what is this power? I know far less about magic than you do."
Omni: "It's pretty much what you want it to be. You'll be able to perform all kinds of spells and enchantments. Levitation, sealing, summoning, elemental, you name it. It's pretty easy to get the hang of it. You just need to be alittle cautious the first few times you use it. Magic can be a double edged sword when it isn't used propperly."
Thronezwei: "I would've been surprised if it wasn't a double edged sword. The stronger something is, the bigger it can backfire. But you'll need to teach me how to use this as well, since my magical training is basically nil."
I wondered what I'd gotten myself into. Being a werewolf was responsibility enough, but magic as well? That I wasn't sure of being able to handle. Eventually, maybe. But right now, it seemed a little much. Either way, I now had it.
Omni: I watch as the stone finishes its lifes work and so finally dies away into a normal rock like any other in the forest. "It's actually pretty easy. I was a natural when I first discovered my magic. As for you, you'll just need to access a special part of your mind. I find it helps to imagine a door. You hold the key. Open it and you will have access to the magic and the instinct that goes with it to let you use it properly. The knowledge will come with time. And wisdom with experience."
Thronezwei: "You're definately wise beyond your years, Conor. And a door, you say? I'll try that now. Well, here goes..."
I close my eyes and imagine that door that he'd mentioned. I just hoped I'd be worthy of this power.
Omni: I both watch and feel him access the power as an aura of his own surrounds him. Each person has their own unique kind of magical aura. By the looks of things, Darius' was blue, so I'm guessing he'll find water based spells to be easier than most other magic. Guess I'd better brace myself. I don't really know how strong his power will be.
Thronezwei: All I could really 'see' when I opened the 'door' was a lot of water. An ocean, or a lake or...some body of water. Somehow I could tell I would have a much easier time with water based spells. I wasn't really sure what that said about me, but from what I remembered of most fiction, water was primarily based around change in one form or another. I was sure it had other uses too, I could probably use it to keep myself dry for example. But at the same time, there wasn't much indication of how strong I'd be with it. I didn't really desire overwhelming power, but at the same time, I wanted more than just a drop in the bucket, so to speak. I opened my eyes again.
"Well...that was interesting, to say the least."
Omni: "Yeah ... interesting." I said as I was drenched in water.
Thronezwei: "Oops...I didn't mean to do that! I'd try something to dry you off, but I'm afraid of setting you on fire or just making you wetter...but I gotta try something!"
I tried focusing again, only on something that would dry him off. Nothing too drastic, but at the same time enough so that it was like he'd never gotten wet in the first place. I definitely needed some lessons on how to control this if I used it; otherwise I'm not sure what would happen.
Omni: "Relax Darius, I've got it under control." I shake out my fur before calling a big blast of air to dry my coat. It's not fun smelling like wet dog. "And that was perfectly natural. It was just a manifestation of your contact with your magic. You should be able to use it freely now, and control it."
Thronezwei: "Ah, whew. So, you got wet because I have water as a specialty, so to speak, and this was sort of like undamming a river to use a water-based example? I wonder if I can use this to keep myself dry when it rains around here...probably can. I once read on a comic strip online that if magic really did exist in society at large, it'd wind up being used for more practical purposes than the stuff you see in novels."
I sighed a little. I'd just become a werewolf, and now I'd become one that could do magic. Sometimes things had a way of making things more complicated. But I perked up a little when I remembered that I wasn't expected to know everything right out of the gate.
"So, should we move onto the first werewolf lesson you mentioned earlier?"
Omni: "Sure, if you'd like. It's actually pretty simple. To change into your human form, you just need to concentrate on what it feels like to be human. Go ahead and give it a whirl. You might get a little resistance since there's a full moon, but you just need to keep pushing.”
Thronezwei: Once again closing my eyes to help me concentrate, I thought of what it felt like to be human. No claws, no fur, a flatter face...everything that defined what could be called the original me. True to what Conor said, there was some resistance, like my body was telling me that my current form was the correct form, but eventually I managed to push the idea through. As I opened my eyes again, the changes back into human were winding down, with all I managed to catch was my claws reverting into fingernails, though they still seemed a little sharper than normal.
"Whew...that...that wasn't easy. And I can still feel the moon's pull on me."
Omni: "It gets easier with time and practice. Now then, how about you try to go feral without losing yourself to the instincts. It's the same basic principle, focus on how it felt and then you'll change, but this time you need to focus on keeping your mind at the same level as if you were in human or anthro form. It's fun to simplify it every once in a while just as a form of release, but there will be times when you will need to have all your wits about you and not just instincts."
Thronezwei: "I guess it will. Something for nothing only works in games, after all. And here goes!"
This would be harder than before, but closing my eyes, I focused on the body of the feral form. What it felt like to walk on all fours, to have a tail and paws instead of hands capable of grasping objects. Unlike going human, my body cooperated with me, but I had to fight to keep my human mind on top of the wolf's. It was a struggle as my face pushed out into a full muzzle, completely unable to make human expressions like the anthromorphic werewolf form could. The fingers on my hands puffed out and shrank into stubby paws as I went forward onto all fours, fur rapidly covering my body and my tail forming. But once it ended, I could still think clearly. I had the wolf's body and my own mind, though the instincts were quite clearly there, just not in command.
"It's almost like having another person living inside your head, I guess. Or rather, an animal. I guess this too, will get easier in time?"
Omni: "Yup. It will, and of course, you and the wolf will grow to get along with eachother after a while. You and he will get to know eachother as you dream and will eventually blend into one being. You'll still be you of course. So don't worry about that."
Thronezwei: "I wonder what will change once we do blend, if anything. Does anything change?"
I hoped my personality wouldn't change too much once that happened. I respected the wolf, but at the same time, I wanted to be me.
Omni: "No, you'll still have the same old personality. Like I said before, you might have some more canine urges, but those can easily be resisted when needed. Though you will need to indulge yourself every once in a while. Otherwise, you and the wolf might have a bit of a disagreement. It makes it impossible to change forms until you resolve the situation. Not a lot of fun. But I get the feeling you won't have that kind of problem."
Thronezwei: "Probably not. I'm fairly easy-going, even if I do have a bit of a temper sometimes. I think I'll get along with him quite well. My cat too, if I can use this new-found magic of mine to get my point across that I'll get around to feeding him at the correct time...and not a minute sooner."
I chuckle a little at this as I return to the anthromorphic form. As with the others, I'd concentrated on it. That change had been the easiest to go through, but I'd needed to convince the wolf that I'd let him take a turn the next time I changed for a period of time.
Omni: "Looks like you're getting the hang of things rather nicely. Whadaya say we head back to your house for the night? We can work on your shifting tomorrow too so that you'll be able to do it by day as well."
Thronezwei: "Sure thing. I'll get the spare bed I keep around in case of company ready once we get back to my house. Assuming you don't already carry a bed or something around with you using magic, that is! But I have to ask if you knew that moonstone was here, or if this was just a coincidence? I'm not upset, just curious."
I truly didn't know what to think of what had just transpired. I didn't suspect him of doing anything with malicious intent, but at the same time, it just didn't seem as random as I'd initially thought. The powers I'd just gotten I was greatful for, but I did wonder how they would change my life from this point on.
Omni: "I honestly had no clue that it was here. Finding magic of any kind in the world any more is very difficult to do. I don't generally waste my time trying to find it, since I'm perfectly content with the powers and abilities that I have gained. As for the bed, that would be very nice. I wouldn't mind finding out what it feels like to sleep on a bed in wolf form. I've never really experimented in that reguard before. Just remember to feed your cat on time tomorrow morning, alright? Otherwise, he might choose to keep us both awake." I wink at him.
Thronezwei: "Oh, I have no doubt he would. They say that ever since the Egyptians worshipped cats so long ago that cats haven't forgotten about it. If his attitude suggests anything, he sure remembers SOMETHING. So, how do you want to get back there, since I'm reasonably sure teleportation is possible, or do you wanna run/walk back?"
I look at the moon and wonder how long that rock had been sitting there. How had nobody else found it before we did? Was it something that was only noticable to werewolves?
Omni: "Eh, I say we run. It'll be fun, and noone will be awake to see us. We might startle your cat a little, but I'm pretty sure he'll get over it." I give him a mischevious wink."
Thronezwei: "Well then, let's get running!"
It felt good to get moving again. I supposed the better night vision helped me avoid the trees and obstacles in my way as I headed back to the clearing, Conor matching pace with me easily, though I had a feeling he could run even faster if he felt like it. My house wasn't too far from the clearing, about a 10 minute walk assuming one moved at a decent pace.
Omni: We quickly arrived at his house and we stopped at his front door, panting after the run. It was fun. I grin at him before he pulls out his keys and unlocks the door.
Thronezwei: I went about setting up the guest bed after we walked in. I occasionally had company, usually family, who stayed overnight. It was actually one of those pull-out couches. I shifted back to human, if only to prevent my claws from tearing anything. I knew how to get rid of animal fur well enough, so I guessed it didn't matter if it came from me or Conor, if he was going to sleep still in wolf form.
"Well, here it is. It's not exactly a full bed, but it's there. Unless you want to sleep in full wolf form or have another idea, that is.”
Omni: "Meh, I'm used to sleeping on pull outs. They're usually more comfortable than a normal bed anyways. Thanks Darius." Then, in came Darius' cat and he just rubbed right against our legs, no problems whatsoever, before hopping on top of the bed and waiting. I laugh and sit next to him, petting him behind the ears. He purrs contentedly at that.
Thronezwei: "Really? I've never really met someone who likes pull outs, but then again, I've never run into a magic casting werewolf before 2 nights ago. Or was one myself, so you learn something new every day! But he really has taken a shine to you, Conor. So, after learning to change during the day, what's next after that?"
I sit down in a nearby chair. I wasn't quite tired yet, so seeing what was next on my lessons on being a werewolf seemed like a good idea.
Omni: "Well, after you've mastered control of morphing, about the only other thing for us to focus on would be how you would control your magic, casting a few spells, etc. I might even be able to teach you a transformation spell, though I personally just use my ARM when I want to change into different forms. The only exception is when I go kitsune. For that, I can change at will without using any magic. It's just natural for me."
Thronezwei: ]"Wait, so you're not a werewolf? But yeah....I really do need to learn how to control it just in case. I'd imagine that learning how to transform someone would take a lot, not to mention out of me...but I think I'm able to at least learn how."
I was kind of surprised that he wasn't a werewolf, though it'd likely explain why he'd used magic to change me into a lycanthrope and not a bite as seemed the traditional method.
Omni: "Oh no, I am a werewolf, just as much of one as you are. I can just choose to stop being one whenever I want since my arm are what change me. You on the other hand are one who needed to be changed by bite. It was necessary. Besides, I like being a werewolf just as much as I do being human or a kitsune. All of my forms are loved and fun to be.”
Thronezwei: "Ah. That's interesting, actually. I'm not sure even if I got the option to be something else if I'd choose to be anything other than a werewolf now. I'm not sure if that's the wolf in me, or just my personal feelings on the matter. But I think it's time to get some rest. I don't want to fall asleep tomorrow morning!"
Omni: "Alright, see you in the Morning Darius."
Thronezwei: "Goodnight, Conor."
Morning seemed to come quickly after I'd fallen asleep. I fed the cat on time, though this still didn't stop him from meowing. I briefly considered growling at him, but held back. After making sure he was fed and had water, I went into the kitchen and started eating breakfast. I didn't know when Conor usually got up, so I had been careful to not disturb him.
Omni: I opened my eyes and blinked. It was morning, and I was human again. I slip out of bed and make my way to the kitchen. Darius sat there waiting.
Thronezwei: "Ah, you're up and human! Which is good, as I wouldn't want you startling anyone. So, what do you want to eat? I need to go on a food run soon, but there's cereal and bagels if you want. Once we're done eating, I think that would be the best time to get started, unless you have another idea."
Omni: "Nope, that's good by me. I think I'll have some cereal." I wave my hands and magically, the various utensils I needed levitated onto the table. The cereal poured itself, and then the milk. Then I sat down. "Excuse me for a sec Darius. I may have magic, but I'm still religious and need to pray." I fold my arms, bow my head, close my eyes and pray in my mind. When I'm finished, I open my eyes and start to eat the cereal.
Thronezwei: "No need to rush, Conor. But this magic is really handy stuff. Heck, maybe I could get the vaccum to work on it's own..."
I trailed off as he starts to pray. Though we weren't of the same religion, I was respectful, especially for a friend. Once he was finished, I spoke again. I continued working on my breakfast in the meantime, though I made sure I wasn't eating when I tried to speak.
"Assuming that would work. I don't know how well magic works with technology, but I'm sure you've got at least some experience there."
Omni: ]"Well, as far as I'm aware, it can work just fine. Though you may need to keep an eye on it anyways so that you can direct where you want it to go. Otherwise, it could cause all sorts of trouble. Magic may be pretty cool to use, but it still is limited in some of its uses. That's why it's best to not always use magic."
Thronezwei: "I figured it wouldn't be as simple as casting a spell and waiting, but it's good to know. But I figure I won't be using it all the time anyways. But that aside, I'm ready to try shifting in the daytime when you are."
Omni: "Sure, go for it. I'm all ears." I say as I shift my ears to wolf form.
Thronezwei: "Your ability with magic is unquestionable, Conor, but your puns are just deadly! So, any tips or advice on how to manage this without the moon's influence?"
Omni: "Not really. It should be pretty easy to shift, especially since the moon isn't out. That was causing resistance with you trying to stay human. Here, it might be the opposite since the sun is out. Your werewolf self would probably be more than happy to be out in the day, but your human self might get in the way. I honestly don't know. It varies from person to person. THough honestyl, I think that you should have absolutely no problems whatsoever. After all, you've wanted to be this for most of your life, right?"
Thronezwei: "That I have. So you're saying that the chances are effected more by how much I like being a werewolf and my human side's resistance, huh? Well...let's see..."
After making sure the blinds were shut so as to not alarm anyone walking past, I concentrate on my werewolf form. Surprisingly, or perhaps not, I seem to meet little resistance. I watch and smile an increasingly toothy grin as the russet brown and white fur begins to sprout all over my body and my fingernails begin to form claws.
Omni: I watch and smile as I see him change. This pup is a natural. He's only a couple of days old and already he can change like a pro. I watch as the fur grows in, covering his face and body, turning white on one of his hands and around one of his eyes. His muscles grow and become more toned and his feet raise up to digitrade stance as padding grows on his paws. I watch as his muzzle pushes out of his human face and his ears point and shift to the top of his head before being covered with the fur. last came the tail as it snaked its way out of his pants. Not a bad transformation. My own grin gets increasingly toothy as I move to congratulate him, a small bulge in the back of my pants moving back and forth in excitement and joy.
Thronezwei: "Ah, you were right about the werewolf in me being happy to see the daylight! It's kinda odd, isn't it? People normally peg us as nighttime creatures...I guess the mythology was wrong after all! And looks like you're not immune to wanting to change during the day either!"
It felt funny to feel sunlight on my fur, even if through the shades. Through one of the windows, I can smell the outside world. A multitude of scents mixing together, and all of them interesting. This must be how dogs feel, I think.
Omni: "Yeah, it's a fun experience." I say as my changes finish and I become my werewolf form again. "Of course, I'm used to turning into something during the day anyways, whether it's kitusne, werewolf, fox, bull, tiger, lion, etc. It's always fun and interesting to see things from another perspective. Though I have to admit, being a werewolf does make me feel pretty playful. You in the mood for playing some catch?"
Thronezwei: "Sure, but given that bipedal wolfmen aren't exactly a common sight, how will we avoid attracting undue attention? Unless there's some kinda spell to hide what we look like without needing to change back, that is."
Omni: "Well, I was thinking moreso playing here in the house. Like I said before, As a wolf a lot of things that seemed so simple and boring before are actually a lot of fun. Though I've never really played chase with a ball before, so I wouldn't really know what to expect, except for a good time of course."
Thronezwei: "I'm not sure there's enough room to actually chase it, but I think I have an old baseball lying around somewhere that we could use. Just don't throw it too hard, I don't wanna break a window. I'll go track it down."
With that, I go and try and find the ball. It was actually easier that I'd expected, as I could track my scent and the scent of the material used in the ball easily enough. It felt odd with fur and pads on my hands, but I could grip it even better than before. I also had to resist the urge to chew on it like a dog.
"Here it is, Conor!"
Omni: "Good, then lets get playing. Toss it, and I'll go after it in wolf form. Then I'll do the same for you." My tail was wagging in excitement. I wanted to play fetch, at least the wolf in me did, and it showed.
Thronezwei: "I assume we'll alternate between full wolf forms then? Alright...here goes!"
My own tail was wagging as well. The wolf was excited to the point where I had to mentally restrain myself from going after it once I gave it a gentle toss.
Omni: I was off like a shot and quickly caught it on the first bounce. Instinctively I chewed on it. I was in ecstasy. I almost forgot about Darius, but then I tossed the ball in the air while in feral form and used a bit of magic to throw it.
Thronezwei: I saw the ball coming and quickly went to catch it, almost missing it, but I threw it back, again resisting the urge to chew on it. It was interesting to see how Conor used magic to propel it, though since feral wolves didn't have actual hands...
"Alright! A few more tosses and then I'll go to that form!"
Omni: I bark in response, happily enjoying myself with Darius. Fetch was a lot of fun after all. He threw it again and I ran after it. My tail must have been wagging a mile a second. I caught it and then threw it towards Darius again, this time a little off towards the right.
Thronezwei: "Oh, craaa-"
The ball almost sails right past me, but I manage to catch it without falling over. I stand there and pant for a few moments before throwing it back, slightly to the left.
"One more and I'll see what I can do with it!"
Omni: I leap into the air, catch the ball and land gracefully on my paws again. I look at him and whine while cocking my head, asking if he's ready.
Thronezwei: "I'm ready for ya! Just give me a second..."
Concentrating on the four-legged form, my hands and fingers turn into my front paws as my body alters itself into the feral form so I can do what Conor had been doing.
Omni: I toss the ball in the air and send it flying again, this time as a ground bouncer. Lets see how he reacts.
Thronezwei: Taking a page out of my cat's playbook, as soon as the ball reaches where I am, I hit it back as hard as I can with one of my front paws. Wasn't exactly the most canine thing to do, but then again, there were no real rules as to how a werewolf was to play fetch!
"This sure is fun!"
Omni: "Of coursh is ish." I reply, the ball in my mouth. I quickly let it loose again, this time in the air above him.
Thronezwei: "How'd you do that throw with the magic earlier? Also, any more lessons before the final full moon tonight?"
This particluar toss I miss, but I quickly pick it up in my mouth and toss it back as best I can. That was the one thing I missed about not being on two legs in this form. I had to rely on my jaws more than I did my limbs. And I didn't want to try magic until I had a better grasp on the basics.
Omni: "Pretty much, I just concentrated on what I wanted the ball to do and then I sent it flying after focusing my magic on it. I suppose you could say it's sort of like telekinesis, at least in this particular case." I stop the ball with my paw on top of it, then toss it back to him. "Why don't you try it? This is as good a time as any to learn some basics, at least until the moon rises."
Thronezwei: "All righty then...well, here goes!"
As I catch the ball and start to throw it back, I concentrate on it, using the method that he'd just described. Though there didn't seem to be any visable aura or shadow around the ball, I could still feel something as I sent it back at Conor. I didn't use a ton of force as I didn't want to risk causing any damage to my house, or injury t

Thanks Rune. You're gonna have to tell that to Thronezwei in either a pm or a shout, becuase I don't know if he'll see this otherwise. And don't worry, I should be able to work on your story soon. It's just that I have a lot of makeup work to do for music stuff if I'm even gonna have a prayer to make it through the semester, so I think I'll have to put all projects on hold until after I'm all caught up.
well of course. Werewolves are awesome after all. Though I prefer being my fursona any day of the week. He can become absolutely anything be it mythical, imaginary, real, or extinct, etc. So yeah, I wish I could become him a lot of the time. THen I could do so much good in the world it would be so wonderful! Not to mention I could grant peoples' furry desires, at least the clean ones. Sorry, but I can't stand adult stuff, so I would only grant them the forms and nothing else but perhaps an explanation in how to shapeshift.

I probably will, though I'll have to check it out. As for the role play, no, Throne and I are several states away from eachother. We did it all via PM. Unless I misinterpret. What is tabletop? And as for tips on how to make good RPs, it's best to come up with a general idea of what you want the story to be about with your partner before you actually start it. Then you move on from there and begin. And of course, it helps to sometimes talk with them while you're RPing to let them know if you're getting uncomfortable about something, etc. Because you never know what your partner will come up with.
Um ... i gave you some already didn't I? I'll type them again, I guess. 1.Have a general idea of what you want the tf to be and what kind of trigger you might consider.
2. Make sure you and your partner are both on the same page for the tf.
3. stay light on your feet, because you never know what twists your partner might throw at you, or vice versa.
4. Have fun with it! If you're not having fun, the story might not be as good.
5. Talk with your partner every once in a while as you work on the RP just for the sake of conversation. It helps get you closer to him/her and also lets you tell them if you feel uncomfortable with the way the RP is going.
6. Ask questions of your partner if you feel uncertain about something, whether it's the story, or the content that they have written, and don't be afraid to answer the questions you partner may ask you either.
That's about all I can think of really tip wise. Oh yeah! And make sure you and your partner are a compatible writing team. That's all I can think of now. Really. Have fun with whoever you choose to RP with in the future. And don't be afraid to ask to RP either. Most people would probably agree to RP with you. Hope these tips help.
