You can't really see it, 'cause of the flash, but the glowing apple lights up the lightning. A little. The skin is 100% opaque, 'cause I'm an idiot, so the light barely shines through it. I may make another skin that's like 80% transparent, so that light is more prominent. Then I'll mask some of the apple with a marker or something, and it'll look pretty cool. :) This was remarkably easy to put on, but I was very careful and got it on the first try. The apple was a separate piece (pre-cut out of the skin), so I had to apply it afterward. But since it doesn't show through all that much, I may remove it at a later date. The skins are designed to be removable and re-applied ... probably a few times. They're kinda like Colorforms, if y'all remember those, but stickier.
