I attended MFF last weekend and had a great time. At most cons I am usually tied behind a dealer table all the time so this year I decided to suit up and just have some fun.
These are the two suits I had with me this year:
I've always liked the tauntauns from Star Wars, 'The Empire Striks Back', so I designed this guy and had WhiteFox from Arend Studios build him.
http://www.arendstudios.com/ He was in the fursuit parade and wandered around the con a few times.
I brought the bear to MFF last year but didn't have much time to play around in him. I made the body suit and worked with Pardus http://p-pardus.livejournal.com/ on designing the head. If anyone has any videos or pics of my bear in the dance/rave, I would love to get a copy.

I can't believe anyone couldn't tell that you were a TaunTaun. I'm guessing it's the fact that the colors are bright, the face looks cheery and the lack of a large Kangaroo-esque tail. But the horns & the extra nostrils are a dead giveaway.
*Taps chin* Hm, maybe you should get a saddle accessory, that should do it. In any case, I love it.

You went to a con as a fucking taun taun? That's absolutely hilarious!! Gotta say though, that's the first time i've ever heard of that happening. Hopefully it aint the last.

I have the sound bytes but didn't have time to rig something up. If I do make a saddle for him it would be pretty easy to add that.

oh wow...very nicely done....i'm working on one of my own....form fitted to my body too....gonna try and make itsmaller than the typical fursuit....all in all it'll be hard to make but the paw off will be great when i go and fuck around with people....you can do about anything in a fursuit ^^
I'm sure this image could be made into Nerdy Comedy Gold somehow. "So the Wookie dressed up like a Tauntaun?"... Okay, it's not quite "Who's on first", but it still seems to be a good idea.

A taun-taun......omg....a taun-taun! I...I'm just so.....taun-taun....it's like a- I don't know what it's like, but it's like 15 tons of pure awesomeness masquerading as 50 to 75 pounds of fake fur and various other textiles. I mean, honestly, there must be some diety shaking his fists in the kind of way angry dieties shake their fists and he's like going "Why didn't I think of that?!" because he wishes he did, but he didn't, and that is just how awesome your taun-taun costume is because it's a costume and it's a taun-taun and I really shouldn't be writing praises for costumes at 3:22 am with 3 hours of sleep and a 10 hour shift working in the toy section and stuff.
