Hippies moreso, in my opinion. They were all like 'love is all you need' and 'peace it live' and all that granola litany, but when they had kids, they ended up acting the same way. And even kids end up having misgivings when their parents forget to pay the rent in lieu of blazing up or selling their beds to make ends meet. The kids rebelled and went the complete OPPOSITE way, making strict rules and sanctions on their generation, and the whole cycle just perpetuated itself.
