Morning in Harusu:
The entire village was covered with Snow, it was a really beautiful scenery. The village was giving a total different energy during winter. It was not the best moment for tourism, but there were still some of them who understand the beauty of mountain covered in snow, and a good warm tea, around a fireplace. Sousuke was going to the lounge, today he had a day off, his colleagues insist on it. He decided to not tell anyone, and surprised everyone at the lounge not expecting him. When he arrived near the lounge, he was Kuugo with shovel taking out the snow from the road. When he noticed Sousuke, he smiled, and waved at him.

Kuugo: "Good morning, Sousuke!"
Sousuke: "Good morning."
Kuugo: "Not at work?"
Sousuke: "I have a day off, I wanted to surprised everyone, especially Gou."
Kuugo: "I see, that's great!"
Sousuke: "You are the one taking out the snow off the road?"
Kuugo: "Yes, Rai is taking care of the fireplace, and Gou is still thinking about the Christmas menu. I think, he still need to pick up the good wines."
Sousuke: "Christmas is coming..."
Kuugo: "Did you bought all your gift?"
Sousuke: "Yes, I already put them all in the lounge. And You?"
Kuugo: "Yup, well... For Rai, it was hard."
Sousuke: "Why?"
Kuugo: "Well...It's Christmas, but it's also our anniversary... I always wondered, which I should gave him, and... ah... maybe you don't want to talk about this?"

Gou: "That's great! Come near the fireplace, Rai just started the fire, you must be cold."
Sousuke: "Yeah, thanks."
Kuugo: "Me too..."
Rai: "Then, come here."

Kuugo walked toward Rai, and both hugged each other.

Kuugo: "You're so warm..."

Gou: "Want some tea?"
Sousuke: "Sure."

Gou went to the kitchen, everyone sat near the fireplace, and warm up next to the fire. After a second of time, Gou came with a cup of tea for everyone. Everyone thank him, and start drinking it.

Kuugo: "A really good tea..."
Rai: "Yeah, it's been a while since, we could enjoy tea around a fire."
Sousuke: "So... Gou how's the menu for Christmas?"
Gou: "Good... I have everything in order. I hope people will come, I did some publicity, and Rai did some on his side, too."
Sousuke: "Hope everything will be find for you."
Gou: "Yup..."

Before Gou could finish is sentence, he sneezed.

Sousuke: "Bless you. Are you catching a cold?"
Gou: "Thanks, and I hope not..."
Rai: "With the old coat you have... there a chance that you would catch one."

Sousuke: "Yeah, I will give it to you now, because I don't want you to be sick, the day of Christmas."
Gou: "Thanks!"

Kuugo: "You looks so handsome like this."
Rai: "Really good! It fit you!"
Sousuke: "You look good in it."

Gou hugged Sousuke.

Sousuke: "///It...It was easy to guess a good gift for you.///"

Gou made it clear he was not in the mood for shopping and was looking around at the old jacket he used to wear. The thing was torn and sewn back together many times and would normally shiver in the cold air. There was nothing he could do but think about the job hunts and trying to understand what he wanted in life. Until recently part time employment and odd jobs sustained an rent and ramen budget but needed something to tie him close. A friend recommended doing massage therapy that could get him an decent living even in the midst of an bad economy.

Friend: come on dude, just go for it.

Gou: whats wrong with my job now?

Friend: you mean besides always getting off three days at a time and an wage that makes being an servant look good.

Gou: I guess steady pay would be nice for a change

Friend: and an meal that isn’t ramen in the microwave or an bag of 99 cent candy.

Gou: I know…….just god damn it

Friend: what

Gou: why cant I find something less stressful and just where I can walk without the fucking traffic system.

Friend: I got a friend in massage therapy that teaches part time at the clinic near your complex, I can set up some classes and get you in.

Hidan: yeah and then what, pay out the ass for the rest and the test too?

Friend: test is free and classes are too, hes a volunteer

Hidan: oh god, is this a total millennial thing that they say their woke and treat others as juvenile misfits who need a voice.

Gou sits down and relaxes with Kris teaching breathing excercises and starts looking around. The class is silent and pays attention to kris as he starts getting up to teach the lesson. Turning to a board he writes terms and annotations of positions on the human body needed to start the relaxation process.

Gou: kris, you don’t know my real life, and I prefer if you didn’t get indulged outside the class, after all its my life not yours.

Walking away, Gou looks at stands there looking away.

Gou: sorry, the test coming up has me nervous and I wanna pass but the terms are all over the place.

Kris: there isn’t an written portion, its all based on your hands on experience.

Hidan: you gotta be kidding me…..seriously…..what topics?

Kris: relaxation and cupping, the main topics for the last weeks before your exam. If you want more help ill be more than happy to oblige.

Gou smiles and goes getting ready for the test the following week. Kris training him after class ours and getting to the room ready to do so. The test went over well and was given his lisence with no troubles. As he left he sees kris with an box and an papers.

Kris: starting next Monday youll be working full time in the St. Johns physical therapy wing, and you better wear a better coat this winter, cant risk getting others sick.

Gou opened the box seeing the coat and hugged Kris putting it on and feeling the warmth seeing the snow falling.

Kris: tis the season buddy.

Gou: thanks, the classes were short and easy, but im glad to finally do something right for a change.
