I feel like you could've pushed the scale of Death even further to really establish a strong visual hierarchy between foreground and background.

That might work. I started with a quick Death drawing and added all the other elements as an afterthought. If perchance i retool thisd for the purposes of painting, I'll reconsider the size juxtoposition to be sure.

Death, Quoth and the Dead of Rats are like, one of my favourite set of discworld characters! You've done a great job on this - since you say it's a quick composition, are you thinking of moving on towards a fully completed piece? =P If so, i'd love to see it!

I may re-draw the composition for the purposes of painting. Got to keep practicing, after all.

ohh I loved that one. But I have to say I haven't read abook with Death in it I haven't loved. Especially Reaper Man <3

I havent read Reaper Man yet, the only Death series books I've read are Mort and Soul Music. I've seen the Hogfather SkyOne movie, but I dont think that counts.
