Eeh! I believe, I mean, I trust, I trust!
...well, that's all the silly I have in me, at the moment. But really, I liked Dragonheart, especially the powerful part of the scene where Draco sacrifices his own life to rectify the mistake he made in saving the prince's (though that was also the saddest bit for me as well). Maybe it was partially why I was so enamoured with dragons when I was younger; Sean Connery makes an exellant dragon, doesn't he?

"That's a better option. *pats yer head*"
Well, I found it quite sad to see him sacrificing from his mistake. Of course he did something he couldn't undo anymore, but something in me wishes even today that he would have what it takes to undo the mistake, only to be left walk on the Earth as the protector of humans (just like Bowen became protector of dragons, as seen when both Draco and Bowen had at the final scenes quite intense arguement).
Yes, Sean Connery certainly makes a good voice. But recently, I noticed how Simon Templeman's (voice of Kain from "Legacy of Kain" -series) has a voice that stands out well and would fit for Draco as well. So it's a tie between them two.

"*Murrs at the pats, embarrassed* So...it's okay that I'm part pangolin, and like other men? The stars won’t reject me? *points out he’s half dragon while looking hopefully at the larger dragon*"
The mistake was undoable without his sacrifice from the very beginning; so long as Draco lived, so would the prince, and yet both would share their pains together. Really, I'd think that over ten years of having something like that bear on your mind and body would be torture enough as it is, much less without feeling shackles bite into you day and night, head being slammed into a wall or a stomach spasm from no food, by the very person being kept prisoner just so another wouldn't die. In some sense, the way he went out was best for all (save the prince, but he had what was coming to him). At the least, there was a sequel that wasn't so bad, as far as continuations go.
Hm, never heard of Mr. Templeman before, so I can't contest nor support that claim. I'll look for a clip of him, and see how he adds up to being a possible Draco. (a few clips later) Hm, well, he’s not bad as far as a suitable replacement, but I think he’d be better for a younger dragon figure; Sean Connery’s has age behind it, which fits extraordinarily well with the age old Draco.
