Kinda like Ursa Major and Ursa Minor! According to Greek mythology the two constellations were bears that Hercules hurled into the sky. He swung the bears around by their tails when he did it, and their tails were stretched out when they landed in the stars - that's why their tails are long and beaver-like. At least that's what I read...
