- Autumn Tide: Piano Improvisation -
Do you hear that?
The song that's playing in the trees.
Come and listen,
you can actually feel it.
The sound glides along the autumn breeze
and warms your heart
like rays of sunlight through falling leaves.
Oh... look how they shine.
The leaves shower the world with an amber rain,
while dancing to the calming wind of change.
There it is again.
Do you feel it now?
Come with me, let's go see.
Just take my hand...
I'll be your guide,
and show you the wonder of a shifting autumn tide.
A Piano improvisation based on well... watching leaves fall off a tree. Something seemed quite curious as to the way some of them try forever to hang/stay on, constantly battling the elements. Kinda inspired me!
Thanks to those that take a listen!

Close your eyes and imagine an old sepia fall scene, a long pathway, and an evening sunlight pouring through the trees overhead. The film flickers every now and then; a small whirl of leaves scatter with the breeze as the music tumbles up and down the notes...
Lovely piece of music, very calming.

OMG...i just had the weirdest sweetest sensation with this song...i downloaded it into my media player as i was listening here...and it opened exactly 1 8th beat after this one in the second verse...and it sounded amazing...omg...like orgasm good...well maybe not that far...but it was amazing to have the lines crossing at the exact interval...i will never be able to do that again tho...
AS always Fox Amoore, beautiful work. Keep it up and always have the inspiration that comes from within and without..."Dont listen. Feel."

Autumn, this is the time of year that I love so much. The air is crisper and not heavy and thick like it is in the summer. Not biting like it is in the winter and not as sterile as it is in the spring. The smell of the leaves, the colors of the trees, the rusting of the fallen leaves when you walk though them. It is a time of harvest, to sit back and enjoy the bounty of all the work you did in the spring and summer. It matters not, if this be farm work or sitting at a desk in an I.T. workstation.
For me it is the season to let loose the tight hold you have on the reins of life and just breath in that crisp air and smell of the leaves. And this music would be the perfect soundtrack. }:=)
