Whilst the lab continues to develop their line of products and study what their clients and customers want, work continues on the new Pokemon treatment that is in development. The treatment, headed by Dr. Penny and Ms. Belle, has only seen one bout of official testing, and that was on a subject that wasn't completely Human. Dr. Penny claims that her treatment required urgent and extensive testing, and that she'd at least need data from a subject that was a full Human. As the treatment was designed to work on an individual basis, and tailor itself to match the client, this treatment had a lot to get right. And potentially a lot to go wrong. We hesitantly put out a call for subjects and were rewarded with a few interested parties. Once such person was Ms. Maya. Ms. Maya worked as an entertainer and showgirl, and was eager to experience 2B Laboratories for herself. She came in, filled in the required paperwork, and Dr. Penny prepared for the treatment to be administered.
Like with the 'Spirit Animal' treatment, this Pokemon treatment, still unnamed, is designed to interact with an individual, and select what Pokemon they'd most likely suit. At this early stage, the treatment is designed to be temporary, so that if any mistakes or side effects do occur, they can be easily rolled back. Dr. Penny's work has taken many great strides, but with a complicated treatment such as this, any risks we can avoid, we will. Ms. Maya was subjected to the treatment, and right away we say results. Her skin grew pale, and her hair became more leaf-like, shifting to a sort of green colour. From here on out, the changes seemed more fantastical, relating to something less like that seen in nature, but in fantasy. A tail grew, her chest changed. And as before, the Nanites used in the treatment caused her clothing to shift and adapt to her new form. Before we knew it, we were looking at a fully converted Gardevoir. Ms. Maya seemed surprised at first, but over the last few hours, she's really warmed up to the form. It seems to suit her quite well, if I do say so myself. We're monitoring closely to ensure the effects play out as desired, but all in all, we're quite confident with how this treatment is working out. Hopefully we'll be able to put it to market!
