Do you think parents in the Stregaverse intentionally name their kids Bobby as a secondary form of birth control?

'Bobby' is actually the larval stage.

Children progress in various molts, Bobby, Bob, Rob and finally the adult form, Robert. Roberts consume lots of broccoli and spinach, concentrating their bitter-tasting compounds to make themselves unpalatable to predators.

They probably produce groups of Bobbys like popcorn then, seeing how often they tend to get eaten by just about anything that isn't them.

They produce a single zoospore, which is laid someplace dark and damp. This then undergoes mitosis to split into 8 Boblets which make their way back to the central nest. Those not consumed begin the main life cycle. In general spores are produced twice a year, in spring and autumn, but during bumper years there can be as many as four liters.

That's why they eat broccoli. It's the one vegetable you can't swallow whole without killing yourself.

This is also why the only adults consumed in the Stregaverse are spoiled or arrogant; those raised correctly are forced to eat their vegetables,which requires discipline and self control. Those whose parents do not instill these important values into grow up to be careless, foolish and tasty.

I could tell from page 1. The badger eats someone. I guess that someone is Bobby.

I'm really liking how you're doing this comic. The mix between smaller panels to show action and bigger panels looks really good!

This is mainly an artifact of me liking to draw at a large size, whick limits the numer of panels. I could easily have done the last two pages in one if it weren't for that.

He may be able to get into small holes but, how will he get out of 2 at once? Especially when his "friends" are pushing him in further to reach deeper.
