That was kind of mean. It's ok to help critique someone, but you could have at least said it did look nice. All did was point out the bad, and just because someone says that they think it looks awesome doesn't mean they don't care about the art work. Maybe they just don't see the errors that you do.

I'll say that ionic probably took what you said the wrong way. But you still could have been nicer about it. All you did was critique, when someone only points out what's wrong with it their probably going to take it the wrong way. All I'm saying is you could have said that it did look good, not perfect, but good.

i dont HAVE to say anything and you should never ask someone to be nice to you you should just accept that they are giving you critique, by the very definition it means i give more of a damn than other people

im sorry, my bad, i do want to improve. im even trying different styles of art, that was my plan. im just going to take a little break, maybe come back in a week or two, you were right about everything. im not sure you believe me but i suppose thats your choice, i respect you as a more experienced artist and all and probably gone though lots of people like me for all i know but i dont want to make enemy's. your probably thinking "oh why should i bother with you now" truth is i dont know. i just flipped out when people say things like that, i had alot of that on sa and it wasn't even a critique it was just people trying to piss me off, you know trolls and stuff. im glad you did stick by me after all and made that journal, no that i realize it it was more like me not being active which is why i never see anything when i logg on. i understand if you dont want to have anything to do with me, its cool, but if you wanted to start over again and not fight anymore and forget this even happened, id like that. thats the best i can do.

the annoying thing is is that i do think this is good, when i saw the thumbnail in my in-box i did actually think you copied and pasted until i saw the larger image when i could see the little flaws, I understand that its not nice having someone tell you theres something wrong with your art and not say there was something good but you need to get used to that and you need to deal with that and never ask or question why some one is that way when critiquing. By all means of you think the person is wrong you have every right to say so but it looks arrogant if you just say "looks fine" and then expect people to go "oh, i must be wrong then"

this isnt SA, ive done everything in my power to never go on to SA and so far ive resisted, quite easily given the horro stories that ive heard, but you must remeber people who critique arent trolls they want to help you

well most people unwilling to look at critique at all tend to be attention whores, but i dont know you well enough to now whether this was a one time thing or whether you do this often.

i dont mid it if i know its to help me. what people did on sa like i said was just to be an ass, so it got herd to tell the diffence. i didnt use to draw like how i did now. one day this girl got on my case really bad. she was a bitch but in a way i did see some flaws i knew i had to change so i did and to proove to her i can be a great artist with my characters i upped my drawing skill alot more.....ci know you now so i suppose you can tell me anything you want. but please theres no need for yelling....i know your a nice woman inside.

This is one of your best works I think. I'm not familiar with the Sonic 'verse so when I first saw this I thought it was a fan character actually, not copy and pasted.

On a side note, what does it matter if you're popular or not in any art gallery? Sure it is nice to be noticed, but isn't it just as fun to create and share artwork with others?

Well they do have forums here and all. ^_^ Never hurts to poke about and strike up a convo elsewhere. And not everyone here are "dirty minded". This is a gallery meant for a lot of naughty images though so if you're not into that kind of stuff it is easy to put filters on. ;)

only things is I'm not sure but maybe the leftovers lines or gray and white near the pants and shoes maybe that is what they were trying to tell you about before?
