The thing about a lot of these expression memes that I've seen, is that they're kind of over the top, and cartoony. Which is not bad by any means. Hell, I like it, it allows the artist to go wild and for us viewers to see them go wild, which is always fun. However, while these expressions are spot on and do describe the emotions, they are nowhere near as exaggerated. It's refreshing to see. I don't know if it's your style, or if it's because it's a person and not an animal person or what, but I like it.
That was exactly what i was trying to avoid [the over the top expressions]. It loses the character a little, it is my style for humans. :D You guys just dont get to see it much! I do totally love though, the expressions that people have put out, i just wanted to keep mine in a SEMICLOSE range to what the face might actually look like :P
On the topic of drawing over the top expressions...you know I do that. I would love to draw more natural expressions, and probably will because I'm developing a uh...toned down, prettier...? style.
