A concept for a character i designed. Shes an older woman who gives up sleep and rest (she doenst need it any more but will always feel tired) so that she always be vigilant and defend the people she cares about. She also doesnt age any further but will always feel a little worn and tired.

This is certainly something you don't very often come across. I think the concept is very interesting and stands out from the crowd. I've always been fascinated with the idea of elderly people with a surprising strength or ability, so this is just for me.
I like how the negative side to the whole thing is something you can relate to.

You don't see many older swordsmen who happen to be swordswomen, and even then they're usually made to look smokin' hot o3o
and the care taken to draw the wrinkles and things as delicately as they are in real life gives this drawing a lot more personality.

Definitely a concept seldom seen. Though for some reason I visualize a scene with her 2 different ways:
1) A mighty warrior with a few different quirks, like maybe she drifts off in battle or hallucinates from lack of sleep.
2) A 'Hercule' type. If you don't know Dragonball Z, wikipedia it.
