that's not strange at all~ believe in what you do, because it's what you do who makes you who you are.
and giving gifts on halloween is something i think everyone should do.
it's not an evil holiday haha, it's just another time for friends to get together and show they love each other somehow.
so in my honest and humble opinion it is not weird or strange, it's probobaly the best thing to do.
