A character from an American Indian tale "The Owl Husband," (from a book of compiled tales by Richard Eudoes and Alfonso Ortiz, just in case anyone's interested in looking it up. There are some interesting tales in there!). While I read the story I had a funny vision of the disguised owls obviously being owls, but with human tools and clothing. It made how he'd be holding his flute a bit of an awkward problem to solve, but still fun to think about xD
