Something done quick of my dragon girls (Smolder, Verimeen and Sinder) on how they feel about the whole NSFW tumblr purge. (Nsfw no longer allowed on the platform starting December 17th)
Given that was the main place I was most active, posting content to and the most ideal site to do so in such mass. eh.
Might as well let folks here know too.
I'll be more active again here on FA. Just not too sure in what capacity.
I have no real interest in bringing back some anthro OCs (Might just introduce some news ones.) and already had comics planned for 2019 for characters that weren't ever introduced here that were already started.
The timing sucks.
But other places you can still find my work are below: (I'll still be posting here on FA and trying to be more active with it in some way.)

You'll always have Twitter for human stuff. Reach is effectively the same and the format allows for artists to garner attention the same way Tumblr does.
I would suggest sticking with Twitter and Furaffinity. Newgrounds is a nice idea, but it's not like users are going to join Newgrounds to follow their favorite artists there. They don't even have notifications to let you know when somebody you follow posts.
I say Twitter. But Furaffinity is GREAT for furry and scaly/dragon stuff. You'll get attention both places.

I have little to no interest in Newgrounds, not until more has been added or changed about it. (already have an account still from 06, so there's still that just in case.)
My main issue with twitter is that it's pretty abysmal and complete ass as an art gallery.
Given the amounts and varying content I often post with no way to sort things, edit if a mistake or update has been made without deleting the tweet entirely then creating a new one.
The lack of a tagging system also sucks. Even on tumblr you could make a text post but then could easily go through images and see specific content using the tags. Unlike Twitter, where anything you post is grouped into your "media" even if it's an image shared between you and one person, which makes going through posts to find specific themes/characters a lot slower.
The reach is definitely there, but the direct interaction without using some offsite thing (like curiouscat) just fills the artist's/followers twitter feed with a ton more clutter that can't be filtered through like you could on Tumblr by simply clicking a tag. Doesn't help that Twitter as a social platform is a far stronger and a more constant stream of just words/quick photos. (Others tweeting literally every minute or second they get about nothing. turns the dash into a mess and a pain to keep up with without muting/unfollowing people entirely.)
I'm definitely sticking to Twitter/FA like planned.
But hoping the next thing comes along soon and is NSFW friendly at least for a while.
Tumblr was a pretty bad site, staff wasn't great. but it's basic ass tools made it pretty ideal multipurpose hub for nsfw artists, writers and commissioners alike.

If your wondering why Tumbler is doing what they are is because about a month ago a few profiles got caught hosting kiddie porn for pedophilias and so they got in big trouble for that. So because of that instead of having a better way of filtitering our stuff to catch that kind of crap they decided to just purge the site of all NSFW stuff to be lazy.
