The Sky Knight Mk 1 was designed and utilized by the Alliance during the Transuniversial wars around the same time the Bulldogs were being utilized. After a few years, the bomber was made obsolete due to better advances in tech and simply better options. The Original Sky Knight was large and easy to target but had a very impressive load of explosives however again it was phased out for the Mantis and other options. After the Z-S Specter's resurrection and extreme effectiveness in new age stealth fighter combat was proven valuable, a idea for both a Frigate and a Bomber was presented. Eventually Steeltech scientists went to the old Sky Knight design and decided to modernize it. They came up with this terrifying monster and this is where our explanation finally starts. The Sky Knight Stealth Bomber is a 28 meter long Heavy Bomber equipped with the same exact absolute stealth drive as the Z-S Specter. The Bomber had the capability of carrying around 100-400 individual explosive ordinances depending on size and mission requirements. The Bomber was armed with 2 antifighter, single barrel auto cannon turrets, one on top and one on bottom along with 2 nose mounted guns operated by an Lambda Series Astromech whereas the other 2 guns and the Sensor array for the bomber is operated by a second Lambda. These Lambda's also made sure the ship's coordination in terms of navigation was correct and aided in piloting when necessary. Back on track. Along with these droids, the ship had 4 crew members, One Pilot, A co-pilot who also operated a nose mounted turret on the underside of the nose and 2 Ordinance Officers who also doubled as Engineers.... who were basically just Alliance Technicians doing their job... the ship has 6 front facing missile/torpedo tubes for targeted ordance and multiple bombbays for dropped ordinance. The Bomber utilized the same extremely powerful and silent engines and adaptive shields as the Specter, making it easily one of the most powerful bombers in this current time and possibly for awhile in the future. The bomber is capable of dropping bombs while still in invisibility and is extremely well armored in case something somehow does get past its shield. The Bomber is able to operate primarily from the Alliance Abon-class Stealth Frigate and operates in squadrons of 3. With all this said, this bomber is extremely powerful and is the epitome of what a bomber should be in effectiveness.
