I love the idea of this! ^^ The arrangement of the text conveys it really nice, and so does the streamlined shape of the dragon's body, pointing at the dividing line. Despite it quite lacks the detail, one can really feel him moving fast towards crossing this border... Very well done in the sense of the piece composition!

Well, what I would suggest is probably practice... if you loved working with the text, you can probably find some tutorials of writing in nice and cool fonts by hand. Also, look into working with the volume, trying to show it - which is quite tough challenge for a beginner artist, but very well worth it (I am only just starting getting it right - or close to - myself ^^)...
