My first try at one of the oldest known painting techniques! We made our own tempera paints with egg yolk, water and pigment and painted on boards prepared with traditional gesso. Considering my recent fursona redesign, I was in the mood to paint a red wolf! I really enjoyed this style of working, so I'll definitely be posting more experiments like this in the future.
