This was done originally as a folio piece. I was inspired by Sorayama's 'Sexy Robots' and wanted to do a bio-mechanical battle babe. I was also heavily influenced by 'Battle Angel Alita' series which was the initial inspiration for the character design.
In 2003, Kevin Eastman creator of 'Heavy Metal Magazine' saw this and wanted it for a cover. It made the 2004, November issue..;) It was also included in 'Spectrum 12'.

See I actually think most people are idiots..especially when they have openions on what should or shouldn't be drawn. i really think fantasy and errotic art really needs more female artists. I really do. So kudos to you hon for presenting your work. Please keep drawing what you are drawing and I wish you every success in your work..:)
