Being in that cave felt like five years. It took 2 irl months to get through those trials (with weekly sessions.) and apparently only lasted 5 minutes in 'real world time' outside of the cave.
Everybody including the GM cried from the emotional toll it took on us- probably me and Grimm's player more than anybody. Our characters were scarred in a variety of ways, but hey! At least we got 3 character levels, we can change into and out of pokemon form, and all our starters jumped to level 50, that's worth a lifetime of psychological trauma, right?
We earned access to Gilgamesh's kingdom (which was STUPIDLY large and has like.... everything in it) right before the game went on winter break/hiatus to avoid burn-out and to allow us to all emotionally recover lmao.
