The Camo squad began then searching for the scorpion in anything related to the Mojave region's news, starting with the obvious: Las Vegas.
Luck smiled on them: the very first thing they saw was a video of said overgrown insect walking on the road towards the town.
He seemed to carry something in his claws.
As he got closer to the town, they could see that said something was a bunch of buses.
And that he carried them carefully, with a protective expression.
The video stopped here, but another one showed the buses on the ground and their occupants explaining how the buses broke down in the middle of the Mojave desert, and how Zeke - that's the name they gave the kaiju - who was just wandering in the area, saw them and carried them to the safety of the town.
Like Chet and Horace, it gave the gargantuan scorpion a hero worship he visibly enjoyed, flexing and showing-off good-naturedly to the cameras.
"I'm starting to have a theory on something, and I don't like it much..." muttered Offick.

Hello again! Yes, I'm back for my next review, this time, looking at the Scorpion Kaiju! So, since Camo Squadron are making good progress and getting right to the point, let's follow in their footsteps and jump right in!
So, first of all, I like the fact that the report is occurring in Las Vegas. It's a sensible place for the Kaiju to gravitate towards, given that it's one of the biggest, and brightest, cities around the Mojave, and that's not even getting to the reason he's shown up! As the people of Las Vegas observe his huge form walking closer, they spy something in his claws, and it turns out to be buses! Not just a bus, but many of them! However, this incredible strength is apparently no big deal to the titanic Kaiju, as his gaze is not smug or confident, but rather protective. He's encountered the many people aboard the bus, and his instinct is to help them! It's great to see, he's more caring than some people, and that certainly hasn't gone unappreciated!
I think the decision to go with something a lot less imminently life-threatening as the situation for this one was a brilliant idea. A break down of a convoy of buses is quite believable, for reasons I doubt I need explain! However, while it is far from the threat of a high-rise building fire or a bridge collapse, it could still present major problems, and even if it doesn't, it's still a massive, massive inconvenience! Imagine being stuck in the middle of the desert on a packed bus that's broken down, that would be awful! It also fits in really nicely with their gratitude, sure, it's not as flashy as the previous two Kaiju, but it is very much just as helpful! Plus, it gives the Scorpion - now christened Zeke - a chance for some good-natured showing-off! Those reporters are going to be very satisfied with those shots - it's not every day you see a Scorpion the size of a skyscraper flexing and showing off!
Of course, this action seems to have triggered a realisation in Offick, who doesn't seem to be terribly comforted... What could it be? We'll have to find out next time!
All in all, a very nice little chapter, if I do say so myself! It's a bit shorter, but given the point of these chapters, it doesn't need to be long. There's no grammar or other such issues that stand out, honestly, there's really nothing to complain about here. Very good job! So, I'll catch you for the next one, until then, take care!
