Well done! I find this 'optimized medium' like you're calling it, very successful and beautiful. :) There's softness of the pastels, sharpness of the pencils and soothing effect of the white chalk. I hope to see bigger drawing that's made with this technique! :D

You got it! I'm planning to some piece with this medium, but now i find myself studing mostly anatomy, applied to some 'peculiar' creatures i know. Yo-ho, i hope i will get along with acrylics to add them to my technique. Wó du yu fink? Have u ever though 'bout using acrylics in you pieces?

I like to paint with acrylics but I haven't yet used them with other mediums. :3 But after using acrylics and gouache in christmas cards I made few days ago, I'm going to try that! :D I'm not sure if acrylics work with pastels because of their features... :P But worth a shot!

Goldenwolf used to mix acrylics and prismacolor pencils; but indeed, in the case of pastels, they may be uncompatible yet i haven't tried it myself...
Mediums that forbid correcting may cause an artist to be uncomfortable about using them, mainly if they aren't life-long experiente; like myself...

Then I've been doing that all the time! X3 Daring regardless of the consequences I mean. Most of the time I succeed but when I don't...then it's quite a job to cover the mistakes.
