I Don't Not Want a Banana
With a small white box shoved into Sergeant Wolf's face, he couldn't help but notice the light pink lettering that said, "DONUT".
"Oh... thanks." The Sergeant Wolf remarked, grabbing the box from the hand of the gorilla "I wouldn've expected a banana or something...."
He chortled, opening up the lid of the box to see... a banana.
"Oh... predictable." He sighed, shaking his head. "Thank you, Age, for the banana. It's awfully sweet of you to... give it to me." Sergeant Wolf rubbed the top of his head, feeling a bit confused by this present.
It wasn't something he would have wanted when opening a box of donuts, but considering the person that gave it to him was a gorilla, it was almost impossible to be any other option.
"I'll make sure to have some of it later." Sergeant Wolf lied, as he wasn't too fond of bananas. He lowered the box to the table and was about to put it down when he took another look at the banana in the box. It made him giggle, really.
It wasn't a donut, that was a given fact... but it was kinda cute that he was gifted such an interesting banana....
"Maybe I could try it in a moment?" He remarked, lifting his hand to the box before pulling his hand away. "Gah! No, why would I want a banana?"
He scratched the top of his head, grunting as he did so. His confusion was now mixed with frustration as he tried to recollect why he didn't like bananas.
Was it the taste? Was it the texture? It was possibly a bit of both... maybe....
He looked down at his snout, giving out a huff, followed by another grunt of disdain. "Yer gettin into my head, Age... can you not?"
He looked up at his gorilla friend but found that Age was not paying attention to him at the moment -- the gorilla's head was turned away from him.
Sergeant Wolf turned his attention back to the banana in the box, finding it was beginning to occupy his thoughts. "I s'pose eating banana isn't bad."
He tried to think of what he had just said. "I mean, I suppose eating THE banana isn't bad."
Shaking his head, Sergeant Wolf began to feel flustered. He lowered his hand to place the box on the table, but found it difficult to remember why he was going to put it down in the first place.
Was it not tasty? Was it defective? Was it supposed to be eaten with a knife and fork? He lifted his hand back up to stare at the banana, giving his head a scratch as he looked down at his snout. Odd. He didn't remember it being short.... He was a wolf afterall.... Wait, was he?
Sergeant Wolf grunted again, frustrated at his own confusion. "Stupid... brain! Not work well!" He remarked aloud. "Erm, I mean... stupid brain not work... well?"
"Not work well?" Sergeant Wolf repeated one last time before mouthing the same phrase over and over again. The more he said it, the more it sounded correct, so he shrugged and looked back at the banana. "Banana not... good. Me think."
Why wasn't it good, again? Was it fake? Was it dropped on the ground?
"It... uh....." He scratched his head, finding even more confusion overcoming him. "Not fun to not eat banana." He nodded to himself. He felt proud he could come to that conclusion as he grasped his grey-skinned hand around the banana and lifted it to his mouth.
"Me want banana." He stated simply. "Oook. Oook. Me gorilla. Me want banana."
Age turned around now, seeming to have been waiting for this moment. He chortled. "Me win. You ook."
"I ook." Sergeant Wolf remarked. "Why I not ook? Why no remember?"
He looked down at the white box in his hand. It was very strange to see such weird pink markings on it. He didn't understand them.... He felt he should have, but couldn't figure out why.
Shrugging it off, he threw the box aside and immediately began to eat his tasty treat.
He was a smart gorilla, afterall.... He deserved it.

Ageaus of him turning Sarge into a gorilla... and giving him a bit of intelligence loss. Afterall, gorillas don't really need to know about writing books or drawing, right?
