I really can't relate -- when the series came out I was already 26 and working full-time as an armed guard at a nuclear power plant and part time at Radio Shark.
Tell you what though -- you really have great chops where it comes to the action-fantasy arts!

He-Man is definitely one that only worked if you were in the right demographic at the time. It's got a really big special place in my heart, and is probably why I'm into art. The packaging for it had just the best paintings.
