I have all the books but my Boingers record disappeared long ago (as did the free copy of the Bloom Picayune.)

I'd say about 50% of my storytelling technique was inspired by Bloom County. It was my all-time favorite strip until Calvin and Hobbes came along.

I suppose after working the fryer at McDonald's all day, he'd be looking for something that actually tastes like food(I know he's likely not the same Forsaken, but I think it's funnier that way).

Also, on a completely unrelated note, I have a sudden overwhelming urge to go listen to The Prodigy now.
