"It's not just my body, that other presence is still inside me. I need to know what it is, and what it's doing."

This is a scene right after Enigma returned to his home plane after first being infected with the symbiote and regaining control of himself. As a scholar and researcher, the first place his mind goes is to trying to understand what this foreign entity is, what it's doing to him, and whether or not it's dangerous.

As you can see, the fact that this is all unknown makes him very, very nervous. Especially when he doesn't fully control what's going on in his own body.
