there used to be a creek just behind the property before i was born.
when my parents bought the place over 30 years ago (i am 23) the area was much more rural and there used to be a 3 acre horse ranch, but before i was even born it was sold and turned into a neighborhood and we have 2 piss-ass neighbors behind us now.
seeing the old (silent and grainy/jumpy) home videos of what used to be back there makes me wanna cry ;__;
i intend to stay here like forever, when the old couple across the road died their 1 acre was plowed and made into a 7 house lot! at least some realitives got a small tractor to dig up the beautiful old 9and i mean OLD and huge) rose bushes the wife tended to so dearly before they flattended the place.
aside from us there are very few pockets of farm land left in this now very suburban area.
